  1. had a very disturbing phone call today to tell me that 4 badger cubs have been found dead in a waterbutt,now unless they can climb into a 3 foot high waterbutt ,someone put them in there,this happened in a very large private garden i look after, there is no known set in the grounds,very upsetting and mysterious

  7. those ipl, list all carbs as having an idle screw,this one definately has no idle adjustment,am i having a thick moment? definately only 2 screws, h and la
  8. sorry, not my saw,its a stihl yukk!! lol,it has a h screw and a la screw,on the cover it says h 3/4 la 1, but if you set the la to 1 turn it wont start, its more like 1 1/2 turns to get it to run and tickover, checked tank breather all good there, the saw has only done about 3 hours work apparently tho is 2 years old

  11. how do you adjust the carb on these as there is no hi/lo and tickover,saw starts and runs, but will not restart from hot?? cheers

    damn good saws imo,did away with the auto decomp on the 2156 tho, seems a lot better for it

    nor me,i suppose i could of got a new carb £115.00 , but couldnt justify spending that much on it,the saw is 20 years old so not to bothered, thanks again for all the help

    changed the tank,got the carb u/s cleaned, put new needle and metering lever in,pulled it over 3 times ,fired,2 more pulls and off she went like a goodun,set the carb up, cut 3 ash rings, then it stopped and wouldnt start,left it over night ,tried to start,back to old problem,its now on ebay,proceeds are going to a new 372xp

  24. so what is this winter going to be like?have heard various accounts, anybody in the know? anybody claiming to be michael fish need not apply!! lol
