  3. got new oregon sprocket nose bar, is yours running 8 pin sprocket ?cheers
  4. inadvertently stuck a prong into a nest, 11 stings around my eyes, lucky for me, i was working for a retired doctor and he dosed me up with anti histamine, but other occasions when working with a saw, got stung on the fore arm, popeye by evening and the pain, felt like something was gnawing into my bones,i guess different people re-act in different ways
  5. flash a grinder over the cutters, dont go to heavy handed tho else you could distort the bar, just one pass ,fine adjustment is tricky, start at one end then check and re adjust as you go down the length of the cutter bar, just get them to nip, end of bar is always the hardest to get right
  6. just got round to getting my dolmar 9000 kitted out with 30" bar and chain, seems to bog very easily in not very big wood?? (ash) would 8 pin rim sprocket help rather than 7 pin, she has masses of compression so engine in good nick although not sure of top rpm for this saw, any help would be great:thumbup1:

  14. i was using my jonsered 2150 on saterday, then switched to my husky 288 for some bigger wood, then went back to the 2150,i kept bogging it and felt gutless after the bigger saw, im not a big bloke but the change in power can catch you out, your bar isnt bent is it?? cheers
  15. replaced stop switch on husky 288 as took a a fair bit of pressure to turn saw off,new one doing the same, could this be a bad ground connection or kill wire faulty?? cheers in advance:thumbup1:
