  1. Have you tried civic trees? https://www.civictrees.co.uk I have heard of them, but I have never dealt with them.
  2. Operator error. On a blower. I have a lively imagination, but I got to admit I am struggling on that one.
  3. Depends if it's a 'highly valuable black walnut'.
  4. I think they spelt 'recruitment' wrong in their mail address!
  5. www.muddyfaces* *all face mud obtained from renewable resources, and guaranteed 100% UHT and bacteria free.
  6. I thought the idea of 'forest school' was to aid learning and pricical skills by taking the kids TO the forest. Clearly it's the 'forest' that goes to the kids.
  7. Light the stove, sit in the hall. Easy.
  8. ...but....but you got a new fan! What better reason to spark up the stove than that?
  9. I would smoke 'em out using this old 020 I got, only I seem to be missing some of the starter housing....
  10. ....and an 020t starter housing I was rather fond of (square Stihl badge rather than round Stihl badge) sacrilegious bastards.
  11. far better to find yourself being a grockle than an emmet!
  12. Not to be mistaken for 'dracks', which are all those little tiny shards of plastic you see scattered about on the ground after a crash test or road accident.
  13. 'Drax' has provided the best name for a power station EVER. Clearly it was wasted as a village name.
  14. Hell yeah. More coffee!
  15. I think you may have missed out the step where current (amps) is converted into power (watts).
  16. Once again Mr Bolt i thank you. You are welcome. If you do nothing else, do the course with Vince though. He is the most 'positive' person I have ever met! https://www.atlasttrainingwestmids.com/instructors https://www.atlasttrainingwestmids.com/coursebenefits
  17. Regarding train-the-trainer, talk to lantra about doing an 'instructional techniques' with Vince Holley. Incredible bloke, you will love him.
  18. I went down the lantra route and have never regreted it. These days Lantra assessments carry identical weight as NPTC assessments. Regardless of that, you are better off doing the training and letting someone else assess, as you can get more days work out of training, you get more opportunity to make a difference to the candidates, and it's stuff you can get your teeth into.
  19. Marc Lewis is who i meant. Sorry for all the de-railing. At least you only had nice things to say about #Mark..Lewis It wouldn't have been so good if you had slagged him off lol.
  20. It deployed ok. If you look closely at the before footage, there is no red webbing above or below the absorber, after, there is a few inches of red above and below. It doesn't seem overly generous though, so at the moment I think I would prefer to use the Canadian option!
  21. I thought he was getting confused with Marc Lewis..... He is different again.
  22. Climb safe, or to quote the sarcastic worker in the video background "don't get parra-p-plegic-ized there". Yeah great, buddy - thanks for the concern.
  23. Here is one... Never tried it myself or seen it done. Must be a good 75% chance of a supremely crushed bollock. Additional thoughts would be... What do you anchor to? How do you get rescued from it? What stops you twating into the chimney like a conker? Is there enough room for the thing to fully deploy beforeally you hit the roof / a ledge? That Dibnah fella knew a fair bit about chimneys.... think he preferred ladders.
  24. I guess it depends on the visor you are considering. It would probably help if you were to include a post of a link for that. TBH, the replacement visor at FR Jones is only about 8 quid. If it were me, I would just order that. https://www.frjonesandson.co.uk/products/sordin-husqvarnapetzl-visor/
