  1. Rigging? That pesky mermaid can barely look after herself let alone be trusted with rigging. See, I knew it. She is utterly hapless.
  2. What a load of old hot air. The job is clearly £150 IF you have the correct approach..... ...... step aside for Mr King
  3. Not even slightly tempted to complete on the sale though? It's a bargain at £500, hell, it almost runs properly some of the time.
  4. Congratulations. A lucky escape for someone!
  5. That moment when you a think you are going to comment..... but then you can't be arsed.
  6. In no way the biggest pair of tits to make an appearance on this thread. :- )
  7. I read the title with interest.... .... i read the rest of the post with slightly less interest. I am none the wiser, I'm afraid. Can anyone enlighten me what exactly the 'historical problem' was that the arborist solved?
  8. Although piping the air in from outside is clearly a more sensible and elegant solution, I can't see that cold air will have an discernable benefit over warmer air for a stove. On a car, there are restrictions on how much air can be drawn in ( cylinder capacity, air filters, bendy ducting, etc) added to the fact that the intake air is seriously heated in the turbo unit, getting the air as cold as possible before it hits the intake is clearly a benefit. With a stove though, you just open a vent up a bit more. I rarely run my stoves flat out, but if I really am desperate for more fierce combustion and all the vents are fully open, I just crack the door open a bit.
  9. Have you tried civic trees? https://www.civictrees.co.uk I have heard of them, but I have never dealt with them.
  10. Operator error. On a blower. I have a lively imagination, but I got to admit I am struggling on that one.
  11. Depends if it's a 'highly valuable black walnut'.
  12. I think they spelt 'recruitment' wrong in their mail address!
  13. www.muddyfaces* *all face mud obtained from renewable resources, and guaranteed 100% UHT and bacteria free.
  14. I thought the idea of 'forest school' was to aid learning and pricical skills by taking the kids TO the forest. Clearly it's the 'forest' that goes to the kids.
  15. Light the stove, sit in the hall. Easy.
  16. ...but....but you got a new fan! What better reason to spark up the stove than that?
  17. I would smoke 'em out using this old 020 I got, only I seem to be missing some of the starter housing....
  18. ....and an 020t starter housing I was rather fond of (square Stihl badge rather than round Stihl badge) sacrilegious bastards.
  19. far better to find yourself being a grockle than an emmet!
  20. Not to be mistaken for 'dracks', which are all those little tiny shards of plastic you see scattered about on the ground after a crash test or road accident.
  21. 'Drax' has provided the best name for a power station EVER. Clearly it was wasted as a village name.
  22. Hell yeah. More coffee!
  23. I think you may have missed out the step where current (amps) is converted into power (watts).
  24. Once again Mr Bolt i thank you. You are welcome. If you do nothing else, do the course with Vince though. He is the most 'positive' person I have ever met! https://www.atlasttrainingwestmids.com/instructors https://www.atlasttrainingwestmids.com/coursebenefits
  25. Regarding train-the-trainer, talk to lantra about doing an 'instructional techniques' with Vince Holley. Incredible bloke, you will love him.
