  1. Think I’ve found his FB page so I’ll message him [emoji106]
  2. Thanks, do you have any contact info for him?
  3. Hi, looking for recommendations for a carver for a client based in Nottingham. We’re taking down a cedar tree in their back garden and they have suggested the possibility of having the standing stem left and carved. Any suggestions of contacts appreciated. Thank you
  4. Hi, needing to get our guys on a tree work specific first aid course, can anyone recommend companies for this? Nottinghamshire area. Thanks
  5. Thank you for posting this...looks like closing my bank account in the Cayman Isles wasn’t a good idea [emoji6] MTD seems the way it has to be....
  6. Do you know when it’s becoming mandatory?
  7. My accountant has been trying to get me to use the Quickbooks app so all the invoices/VAT payments etc are online. Haven’t taken to the idea as it feels it’s another thing to do (already have a system that works for me) and don’t like the way it’s all very generic/impersonal (unable to add company logos etc) Is HMRC making it mandatory to use these apps?
  8. Have had a couple of calls recently asking for quotes in South Yorkshire (not an area I live or work in) From what I can gather a company are leafleting that area with my business name and mobile phone contact details on. Wondering what I can do about this/where to get some advice. Am worried that this may cause negative posts for us online. Am checking Trading Standards initially to see if they can help but if anyone has dealt with this before this would appreciate to hear there experience. Thank you
  9. Sure lots of people on here have taken on staff and provided full training for them. Would say that LA’s and other public organisations should have a structured training schemes
  10. Top roller on our chipper jammed itself on the chamber, after looking what the problem was saw that the roller shaft had sheared off. Called Forst and they arranged a fix for the next day. Have the chipper back now, new roller and shaft fitted and working as should. As with all machines things are going to break but only down for 1 day, very happy.
