  6. Just set a 19 yr old on as a hand cutter he will be joining a team of 5 other hand cutters, so our team ranges from 19 to 51 yrs old. We tried using a harvester but went back to hand cutters as we can work on 2/3 woodlands at a time. Also using hand cutters provides more employment, we are in an area of very high unemployment.
  7. We have a Posch 280, fantastic machine, worked it for 3 years now, had the blade sharpened this summer, no breakdowns or problems. We would certainly buy Posch again.
  8. Here is a photo of it in the bog, this after the guy who sunk it , tried digging it out and failed, now the engine won't run as it,s full of water!

  16. it,s all classed as work by VOSA and you need to have your weekend rest period. So you are ok working as groundy on a monday or Saturday, as for your employer ask them the question what if i.
  17. i think you can plug in to the standard hydraulics and use a spool valve to apply the trailer brakes just the same as when using the hydraulics for a tipping trailer, my Zetor does have a specific hydraulic brake outlet.
  18. Here 's my 75 hp Zetor with lowloader trailer 2.5 tonnes and 5 tonne digger trailer has hydraulic brakes that really help stopping plus tractor has 4 wheel brakes, build a smaller lighter version of it . Oh forgot trailer has a hydraulic pickup hitch on the back of it, just incase?
  19. I've been in my workshop at home having a bit of a tidy up and found a Dolmar 120 super, 68cc and 8 hp that i had forgotten about, it just needed a coil and brakeband, found a good coil on another scrap Dolmar so now it runs but no brakeband so going to order one and while i,m waiting i,m going to have a play with the exhaust, a bit of work on the ports and a touch more compression, i do enjoy playing with little 2 stroke engines so simple compared to the V8 top fuel motors and drag bike engines and stock car engines i used to build. I,l take a few photos of the progress and post them.
