  3. Hi Jon, 4 ton trailer, 7/8 forwarder, 4 wheel brakes on the Zetor and good brakes and tyres on the trailer. photos were taken about 5pm today. Been like the Artic today here:thumbup:
  4. Had a road trip in the 75hp Zetor, 18 miles in the durham Dales with a Bruunett forwarder on the trailer, slow on the hills, but fought it,s way through all the drifts, much of the journey was over 1000ft above sea level. Forgot to take any photos till it was half way off the trailer.
  5. Hi Matty it was up at Consett, Hi Rover, yes, this the bogged machine.
  6. I don't know I never noticed but i will have a look.
  7. 13.5 tonne Ramsey hydraulic, worm drive, we carry it to the job on the Zetor front loader, then chain it to a tree, it has 20ft of pipe so i can sit in the tractor out of harms way, we don't use this winch for extracting timber!
  8. Repairs, can't select reverse, no drive to oneside rear bogie and very weak hydraulics, we,ll get it back to our shed and give it a wash and sort it,s problems out.
  9. It's out at last, fitted a new hydraulic pump to the Zetor tractor and the hydraulic winch pulled the Brunette out easy.
  10. Have a look here they have lots of small enginesAll engines (Page 14 of 16) | Midland Power
  11. Because it, s Joseph Lucas Prince of Darkness! the exciter wire off won't help either
  12. Has anyone got a manual for a old Brunette forwarder, paper or pdf, cheers Mark.
  13. Jon, It,s one and a half psi above standed.
  14. It snowed so much i decide to get the old 90 out the back of the shed, took it for test and passed not even a bulb out.I,d forgotten how much driving it makes me smile:thumbup:and it,s 25 years old it,s got 200 tdi in with a bit of extra boost and the pump opened up a touch.
  15. Hi just got a Brunette forwarder, that is stuck in a bog, It,s only driving the wheels on one side of the rear bogie, is this a common fault? Has it got gears, shafts or chains and sprockets, when you stick it in drive the wheels that don't drive do jerk slightly, maybe a spline of woodruff key failure? Also where is the filler for the hydraulic tank? does anyone still sell parts for these machines? Cheers Mark.
  16. It is, all our machinery lives indoors so have no problem with nesting birds, I do get Robins perching on the backlights of the tractor, while i,m operating the crane.
  17. It was the roof of an old drift mine tunnel that collapsed under the weight of the trailer as i reversed, no wonder this woodland is fairly dry, tunnels are acting as drains, this is the 2nd collapse in this wood.
  18. Hope this helps you. db-770 870-970-1070-1090-1170-1175.pdf
  19. Todays excitement was the timber trailer falling into old mine workings, the crane is lent against the tree, low gear and 4wd and difflock and it managed to pull it,s self out.
  20. Buy a new tank, just fitted one to a ms200t, only 55 pounds from local Stihl dealer.
  21. It,s a Leyland FG or angle cab but it,s only 3.5ton, It belongs to a friend of mine who is the local farrier.
  22. We will not sell 26 tonne loads within 10 miles of us, Our core business is firewood and we find that people under cut us on price by quoting 45 pounds a dumpy bag then when delivered they want an extra 10pounds for delivery and an extra 10 pounds to stack, so why should we help them, 26 tonne loads of hardwood are difficult to get in the North east.
