  4. As TCD said we love our Bruunetts simple and robust and hard working, it's in the woods working 5 days a week not bad for a 30 year old machine and it,s fantastic on fuel. Our Bruunett driver was off ill yesterday so i did a day on it working on the side of an old pit heap, enjoyed it so much, i,m going to drive it Saturday morning as well, we don't normally work weekends.

  6. Had a visit off a rep from Solarlec, looking to sell us a full system, of an ignis L97 boiler and full installation, cost 36 grand ! and then 11000 pounds return from the RHI each year. Is this an ok price for the boiler and install? Anyone run a RHI system?
  7. I,ve got a spare grab and rotator and i would like to fit it to a Komatsu 45-1 but i will be one service short? So is there a way around this problem?

Needed to ring up a bit of timber that was to big for the processor, spotted my 660 up on a shelf and thought, 2 years since i,ve used it and it was sat with a 20 inch bar and a brand new chain:thumbup:Oh how it made me smile i,d forgotten what a fantastic saw they are. I was happy for the rest of the day, arn't chainsaws great!
  9. It will just go on the shelf with all the other Danarms, Pioneers, Aspley, i enjoy their lack of plastic, i use to use one of the Pioneer 650's for milling.Model Profile: 650

  11. Today been nice and sunny decided to have a drive about and see a few people, one yard i went to had a Bruunett fmg 678 harvester, in really good condition stood, have any of you got any experiance on these machines or any info or good stories or photos or videos:thumbup:
  12. My Nissan Patrol, it has a 4.2 straight six diesel, fantastic bit of kit on road and off, originaly i bought it to tow my yacht to Greece and back each summer, i,ve had it 18 years now totally reliable never let me down. But I also have a Landy 90 which i think is fantastic for local work.

We run an old 308d Sprinter van for deliverys, As we are so busy we need another delivery vehicle, so i decided to build a trailer that will take 6 dumpy bags on the deck, we have an old Rice horsebox chassis that we had retired, so last Friday started building a trailer to go behind one of our landrovers, there are a few bits of steel still to weld in, then shot blasted and painted, wired up, going to go with led lights and fit ally chequer plate deck. Going to make lockers under the deck for the spare wheel, straps ect.

  18. I made this mill up from off cuts from my scrap bin and an hours cutting and welding, here it is cutting a piece of Alder just to try it out, saw is an old 038 wood boss with a 20 inch bar. Beam is 10 foot x 6 inch x8 inch, No idea what to use it for?
  19. Swapped half a ton of alder in 3 metre lenghts for an old Danarm But what use is it to me? i,ve got enough old rubbish.
  20. I,m looking for a scrap crane, i want the slew part of the crane, so if you have a crane that the kingpost has snapped off or the legs are broken, post some photos, i can collect from most areas:thumbup:
  21. I use 3/8 on a 357 xpg so i can use part worn chains off the railways:thumbup:
