  1. Hi, can,t do friday, tomorrow or next week, 50 pounds a ton and we can load you with one of the forwarders.
  2. Hi, yes we are cutting stuff around those sizes, Scots pine, Norway and a bit of douglas .
  3. Or try us we are cutting at Consett, if it,s not to far away from you.https://www.facebook.com/pages/County-Durham-Logs-Forestry-Division/174876242568749?ref_type=bookmark
  4. We leave it in low box, it,s a half mile uphill drag to the stacking area. Never tried high box low is fast enough for me:thumbup:
  5. Short video of Osa pulling up a long hill.https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=743582385698129&set=vb.174876242568749&type=2&theater
  6. On the Osa 250, we are doing 16ft sawlogs and get a very easy 9 ton on and thats not full to the top of the bunks. The Bruunett takes 5 ton of 3m chip or 4 ton of 3m hardwood. You can see the Osa headboard has been widened by about nine inch each side and the bolsters dog legged.
  7. TCD, try fitting a pressure gauge, to check the pressure, maybe a faulty pressure switch, or maybe bigends and or oilpump.
  8. Logrover, yes the head sold, it went to Slovenia, just had a look on ebay and could not see the head.
  9. TCD, got a re,cond oil cool for 40 quid, the cooler had been left for repair 2 years a go and the customer never returned to pick it up, so i got it, it,s off some sort of access platform. Just got a new radiator as well, off ebay £154 delivered:thumbup:
  10. Secret weapon, you kept that quiet! other than someone told me about it:thumbup:
  11. Sorted the spool valve problem, needed a bit of adjustment on the servos.Wiring is in good condition, it had a full new wiring loom when it was rebuilt, Noticed yesterday it,s had it,s timber bunks widened by about 9 inches each side. You can see on the headboard and the doglegs on the bolsters. Now the pressure is off the Bruunett, going to fit a new radiator and oil cooler. The Bruunett is a lot happier not having to lift the big saw logs.
  12. At work today. All going well apart from a little problem with the dipper arm control, when you move the joystick the variable pump is not coming in. Works fine if you are using another control at the same time. seems like the spool is not sending the pilot signal to the variable pump???
  13. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=650080681754084&set=pcb.908313699184057&type=1&theaterHi Jon here is the Bruunett info you asked for.Had a look on mine and this is the best info i can supply. 1 and 2 lift ram, 3 filter, 4 goes to right/rear slew pot, 5 dipper, 6 rotator, 7 runs down outside of cab, 8 runs downside of cab so 7 and 8 maybe steering, 9 grab, 10 rotator, 11 right/front slewpot, 12 dipper, 13 grab close.
  14. Excellent day out, good machines and nice people:thumbup:
  15. Yes he has a Ponsse and a 1840 forwarder that needs a bit of work and a couple of 6 wheeled valmets forwarders.
  16. Only 20miles away from me, so it would be rude of me not to go, plus i,ll pick up a new winch cable for our little Fransgard and he,s promised me a mug of coffee if i turn up!
  17. TCD i,ve not had a problem with the o rings on the 578 since i stopped swivelling the seat round. At last done the deal On the Osa250 sorted the problem of the spool valves singing, it,s got a big pump fitted and the pump needed turning down. Getting it delivered on to site on Tuesday and will be running both forwarders to catch up with the cutters.
  18. Anyone going to FMS open day?Forest machine services Ltd – FMS Open Days
  19. HI, I,m looking for a set of timber bunks to go on a Bruunett 678f. I don't mind what they are off as i can cut and weld them to make them fit:thumbup:
  20. Logrover, Osa 250 has limited slip diffs. Had a test drive of it today lovely, it had a bare chassis up, rebuild 2 years a go and has done very little work since.
  21. TCD, we,ve got 2 really good handcutters, so we have no need of a harvester at the moment. But things change! LOGROVER, does your Osa 250 have difflocks? a guy on another forum told me that Osa 250's don't have difflocks. I can,t believe that a forest machine would not have difflocks.
  22. Hi TCD, the 678 is going, sold the head to a guy in Slovakia he,s picking it up on Friday and the base machine is going in part ex on the Bumble Bee Osa 250, so a weeks time will be running a 578f and Osa 250.
  23. And the ground is starting to dry up! So lots of forwarding to be done and timber trucks can get in and out.
