  1. A Komatsu 360 starter motor it was turning a bit slow, so stripped and cleaned and lubed it, works a treat now also found a bad conection where the posi lead goes in the posi battery clamp.

  3. Got 2 leaking badly i use old engine oil in them and fill them once a week. I want to sort the leaks out next time it,s back at our yard.
  4. There is a Zetor 8441 with 1100hrs and 15000 quid very clean i have seen this tractor.Iwill be buying Zetor again i,m very pleased with the one i have.Machinery Details from Mark Watson Farm Machinery
  5. ordered the hydraulic brake actuators for this trailer so we can carry the Bruunett on it and be able to stop.
  6. We had problems with the prop u/j catching on the center pivoit, turned out to be the nut that holds the flange that the u/j bolts to had come loose. had 4 o rings fail on top of the cab. We,ve forwarded a 100 tons a week compared to 50 tons a week with tractor and forwarder trailer. Got a driver on the Bruunett Monday to Friday he,s 67 and really looks after the Bruunett i rarely get a drive of it. Maybe the stub axle seal i mean that needs replacing if you know the size of it.cheers Mark.
  7. A Pioneer 650, it,s a sunny day toy. 1967 i think.
  8. TCD have you sorted your bogie out? do you have the size of the hubseals? i need to replace 2 seals and would like to order up the seals before i dismantle the hubs.

  10. Nothing on my bench today! sunshine and forwarding in the woods is my day.
  11. Same here TCD oil running down the outside of the windows but i was happy it only went down the outside and not over my head:thumbup: TCD i just replaced the O ring on the male part.
  12. Bruunett is going really well, only problem has been a oil leak due to perished O ring in a quick releasing coupling on the roof of the cab, climbed up and there were some spare ones already on the roof so fixed in 30 seconds:thumbup:

  14. At last the lowloader turned up to take the Bruunett to the woods:thumbup: Did a couple of hours with it this evening and it worked perfectly.
  15. Thought he might get some good advise on what saws are suitable, to save him from wasting his money on a hobby saw that the salesman tells him it,s what he needs.

On the plus side we gave a lad who is 45 a chance, only time he had used a saw was when he did his tickets, We paired him up with our most experinced cutter and after 2 days he was doing a fantastic job in hardwood thinnings, 6 weeks later he,s felling softwoods for saw logs and we can't fault his work.
  18. He's a self employed cutter, and we've given him lots and lots of training and instruction then 30 seconds later he just disregards what you,ve told/shown him and does the same ****.

He says he has his own way of working! the Ash tree on the top should not of been felled, he left the 2 Alders next to the Ash and felled the Ash, we are thinning the Alder to give the Ash space! He leaves his tops like that and does not deal with them! We pay our handcutters 16.50 quid ton in hardwood and expect better than this.
  20. This is the handy work of someone with a years experiance in forestry, why would anyone think this is ok:confused1:
  21. What is the wheel drum? Bearings you should be able to order from your local bearing supplier.Wilsons have some bogies out of scrapped forwarders and some of the arms look the same as the ones fitted to bruunett's.
