  1. I,ve found that the pine we have stacked outside in 8 foot lengths is good to go in a year but we do have it stacked in a very exposed position where the wind never seems to stop blowing and no cover over the top.
  2. Spent the day in the shed out of the rain, had a tidy up and dug out a Pramac p4500 diesel generator that i took in p/x that did not run, it has a yanmar L70 single cylinder diesel engine, it wound not start and no smoke when cranking over! First problem i found was the airfilter was in back to front making it impossable for the engine to suck air in. Tried cranking it over still no smoke so no fuel reaching the engine! next i found a intermitant fault on the wiring to the fuel cut off solanoid, fixed this cranked it over still no smoke. Next fault i found was the injector pump was not pumping so off it came and dismanteled on the bench found a few little bits of crap in the one way valve in the injector pump, but it back together and tested it on the bench and all was good so hopefully when i refit the injector pump in the morning all will be well and i will have another working genny.
  3. The digger is 4.5 ton and the trailer is 2.5 ton and it copes well for a small tractor, it is a 6341 so it is 75/80Hp it only has 1400hrs on it so nothings worn out yet.
  4. For all 3 of you, Zetor lovers
  5. I,l be keeping the Zetor as well, it,s a perfect match for our timber trailer and with it,s snub nose it,s good in tight spaces, it might be a year till i buy a 3095.
  6. That,s sweet i do like 6 cylinder perkins power, yours is the first one i,ve seen where the door bottoms are not rotted out, a 3095 will be my next tractor.
  7. Touched a nerve have i? maybe people have issues in earlier life that this sort of bling makes them feel better about? on company vehicles they are a cheap advert. I guess they are cheaper than therapy or cosmetic surgery for a small penis!
  8. how about this one! Also if you want your name on your car get a sticker made or use a sunstripe with letters on it.
  9. i,ve no resentment to anyone with bought numbers on personal cars, i just feel sorry for them.
  10. So times are not that hard if people are wasting money on number plates that are not needed, just more bling culture!
  11. We have a Posch 280 and find it to be a excellent machine, it takes 11 inch timber, so out of a truck load there are maybe 10 lengths that need ringing up and dropping straight in to the splitting chamber which will take up to 18 inch dia rings.
  12. picking up got orders for 20 dumpy bags and 100ton of softwood for next week, mus'unt grumble
  13. Had a 020T brought to me for repair by a dodgy looking type who did not know it,s a climbing saw. I don,t like the idea of fixing a stolen saw, so how can i check if it,s stolen or not?
  14. it,s an 1960 mog with a 4 litre vario diesel engine. It,s not mine, it,s a mates who called to have a look at my Foden 6x6.
