  7. Remember in the 90's a local ag rep, his company car was a granada he used to deliver machinery (5-6 furrow reversible ploughs etc) on tandem axle trailer and that was on electric brakes. Hhe said it was legal.
  8. On the clyde between langbank and portglasgow, you can see the posts of the old timber ponds where they stored the timber for the shipyards.

  12. I have in the past lost e-clip and used a small piece of wire of the right size. Wire round slot back on itself and twist like the old potato bag ties (maybe should be in the over 50's thread). Not ideal but keeps the job going. West you may also find it difficult to get a circlip of the right size and thickness as the e-clip, i think the E's are normally thicker for a given size
  13. You can but not ideal as they are designed to do a slightly diff job
  14. The only time I can see that being of any use at all is when you've forgotten all your micro pulleys and other bits of kit, and have to do a 90' pull up a rope in mid air... I would rather drive home and pick them up, than use that system. Spiderjack/ Zigzag and age makes you lazy
  15. Try Rob D on here www.chainsawbars.co.uk
  16. Dosen't look good. More torsion cracks than drought cracks imho.
