  1. Not exactly low ground pressure, working to the principle of tread lightly. Suppose they didn't want to make a mess of the track
  2. Know the feeling, just had payment for work done in October.
  3. can you have a detachable strap/chain to hook them up out of the way when you go to tip. You see it on tar lorries etc
  4. Yes eggs from when invoice is sent to them and normally has to be in by a certain date in the month, miss that and wait another month. If your very lucky you may get your money in 45 days, but don't hold your breath. I'm on 30 days but sometimes it's nearer 90 days. I'm not too bad with the ones I work for as I can load price up to allow for the delay, but it does not help you sleep better.
  5. I agree looks like a green operator, just a bit wild with the swings. Just don't buy the demo machine is what you are saying
  6. Ah but a chipper should not be running flat out at 50mph unless its being nicked. Depends if the sump and oil supply been modified to cope with running at angles and surge. Some have at more expense at initial purchase some don't at customers expense later down the line. A number of recent threads on v-twin grinders with a damaged cylinder because of the operating angles.
  7. How long will that engine last being waved about like that
  8. Think 660 could be had with high output oiler. BY blocked do you mean with sawdust, is it your cutting style. Find it happens when chogging down, especially if cutting right through from one side and weight of chog tries to nip bar.
  9. On blue tongue as well, never been keen on marlow ropes personally
  10. Hard to say what to do. Main thing is your in one piece , having listened to your own warnings. What were the other climbers thoughts. Have a look another day you may feel better about it.
  11. Would have been better if charging whilst towing gennie on trailer
  12. I have a 395, open to offers, little use 28" bar. Prefer ported 660
  13. Just go for the 30 degrees now. Otherwise it will still be crap. Sorry to be brutal Just make sure all the cutters are the same length
  14. Another tight jock then.
  15. Used to do that all the time before getting a pulleysaver, main drawback is its not retreivable. Some don't like a crab being used singly as it could open by rubbing without being noticed, could use a maillon instead.
  16. Eddie by fixed mount grab do you mean a grapple or a all bells and whistles grab and piped rotator
  17. Glyphosate always slow at this time of year as plants dormant/semi dormant, for best results apply when actively growing, not at the moment here as getting permafrost stage, will change by next wk probably. As said for quick results on initial knockdown, use a flame gun For marestail try Icade
  18. Should have sent it to spud, he like that sort of thing. NOT
  19. That's not saying much
  20. Can you describe what problems you are having
  21. Give it a try, if after 1st day does not look like it will work out, don't go back after all he is not paying you, just bear in mind that he may put out a bad word about you.

Cheap as chips. IIRC Just make sure the newer tyres are on the front than the rear, as other way wind up the transmission. Check out the forums on this
