  1. I get wear but never as bad as that and that's on hiflexes. How high do you hitch up whilst moving about and where and what on your harness.
  2. Changing from minutes in revs per minute to meters per second.
  3. Very nice Eddie
  4. I've a 6" road tow that goes out with an operator based near Huntly. What is your timescale as busy rest of this wk and next.
  5. What size do you want, with or without operator.
  6. If they can sharpen its only with a fancy guide and then they always take an age to do it, god help if you only give them a bare file to do it with.
  7. That can be a problem.
  8. But you want a chain that will cut well and sharpen easily, which will not be a rototech
  9. Oregon used to make husky chains, not sure if they still do but pretty sure they still do
  10. Equivalent in quality to top end Tirfors, it uses 11.2 mm 6 strand wire rope. Wire Rope for HIT-16 - Habegger WWW.HABEGGER.CO.UK Wire rope suitable for the Habegger HIT-16 manual hoist. Habegger wire rope is made of galvanised steel wire, one...
  11. Use Habegger here for last 30 yrs, only replaced shear pins.
  12. Opens ok here on laptop.
  13. I do mine old fashioned and simple, a spreadsheet on Excel, been doing it this way for last 20 yrs. Mind you I am not VAT registered so that simplifies it a bit.
  14. They developed and are marketing it.
  15. £25 plus vat from chainsaw bars.co.uk, same bar as lots of husky saws such as 346etc just in .050 width
  16. What bar are you using. If you give us the Husqvarna part number someone will cross reference it
  17. cross reference it with @Rob D at chainsawbars.co.uk
  18. Remember saw can move in your hands to follow a curving cut. Processer bar works in a fixed plane, wood clamped so no real movement available hence sharpening and bar dressing important. Is it a special/unique bar on a jappa
  19. Have you turned the bar or dressed the rails. Ideally put new bar and chain on and see if it cures it, you will need them soon enough anyway
  20. Just hopeless, overpriced and falls to bits.
  21. 58 this year and still climbing most days.
  22. Think I will pass on the idea.
  23. Don't undersell yourself Stubby, how's the leg by the way.
  24. Nice
  25. So we can comment on the draft, and then comment on the revised document?
