  3. Whilst you are about it I would order up a set of clutch springs as yours are starting to wear, you can see the flat spots where they mount on the shoes.
  4. Use Stihl genuine piston or meteor as next best, try and retain original pot .

  7. Self isolate the wife in there with them. !!!!!!
  8. Replace the gauze strainer filter, as least a new one will be clean. A used one often looks clean, but when held up to the light they often have a film over them.
  9. Might have a problem as stihl carbs made in china. IIRC
  10. try your new 18" chain on your old 16" bar if its the same gauge to check for wear. bar gauge size should be shown on an etching near the bar mount.

    Got one of them as well.
  18. It was a fall due to failure to maintain zig zag, gummed up top spring. AA got in a tis about it.

  21. I think dave's 55 is the older version ie approx. 20yrs old, not the 455. Sorry if I am wrong.
