  1. Loads of threads on here about the subject, mainly dependant on location and what you bring to the party. £100-200.

    Jokes???

Is that not Normal for Norfolk
  6. Not sure but think bolts go other way with nuts inside clutch cover, with washers under bolt heads.

    Saw upgrade

372, no electronic carb to go wrong, they are good solid saws. 365xt can easily be converted to a 372xt. Can run your stihl bars on 372 etc with a converter from chainsawbars.co.uk. Its not as sporty as a 462 or 500i, but its for ringing up firewood after all, not felling on piece rate. Was offered a good s/h 372 about a month ago for £200, should have bought it really, was well looked after with little use.

    Saw upgrade

372xp if you can get hold of one
  9. Not as badly worn as I first thought from your previous pics, glad they have stiffened up the clutch, surprising how a little wear makes a big difference.

    Scam?

Am in Dundee this week, can have a look if you want.
  11. Sounds like the race to the bottom that happens in tree surgery.
  12. Swallows been passing through here for about a week now on route elsewhere, none of the residents returned yet.
  13. What does the village idiot do programmes as well as ancient woodland management?
  14. He does the ones round St Magnus Cathedral in Kirkwall. There is also a glen of sycamore near Finstown on the road to Stromness and that's about it. They are all well wind and salt pruned.
  15. There are a few up there just not a lot, lad I know does work on them for Historic Scotland.
  16. Easy enough to change, clutch off, covers off and pump out.
  17. Would think its whole new pump as that's all that's normally sold. Plenty from chinaland on fleabay from £8-13, or genuine from ls engineers
  18. There is help coming in June if you have S/E returns for last few years, I know its a wait but it all helps.

    Ropes

Never liked marlow ropes in the past, might have changed now though.
  21. Icade, but need to be careful as a brushwood killer
  22. Thought it was a typo at first, but your def right its not a fruit. No idea how to do it but interested to see the stages and finished article.
  23. https://www.pfjones.co.uk/mitsubishi-shogun-lwb-2007-on-flange-tow-bar.html Witter towbar above has 2 alternative mounting holes for hitch, would need to check with witter what the ball height would be.
  24. Def agree, suspension lift will make things worse in this situation, need to find a hitch at the right height for the trailer or an adjustable one. Stiffer suspension would help as well but standard ride height. Which model of shogun is it, could also ask on a shogun forum re towbar choice.
