  1. Might have try some seal all then I have used petro-patch before and had good results but on metal tanks which is what it is recommended for wasn't sure if it may have been worth a try but will try and get some seal all in the morning Then just need to be a little more careful in future Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  2. Will see if I can a decent pic in the morning The crack has gone back together quite well but it runs from left to right across the saw just under where your knuckles would be when gripping the handle and is split across the 2 different plastics making up the handle and tank and straight through the seam where these 2 plastics join I did contemplate getting the soldering iron out to see if I could melt it all back together but I don't think it would across the join Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  3. Has anyone got a 660 they are breaking for bits I need the rear handle and fuel tank as mine has a not so nice crack across it after a mishap earlier today and fuel is leaking out everywhere Or failing that has anyone any experience of the Huztl spares that are for sale on eBay - are they any good or are they junk as a complete tank and rear handle assembly from them is around half the price of the bare tank/handle from stihl Guess I may have to try petro-patch first has any one used this on a plastic tank before as it says only suitable for metal but it may provide a short term repair Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  4. Well glad she's back ok Shame she isn't gun trained and you weren't at the other side of the yard with a loaded shotgun just about to go out - you would have probably got the chance many would like to have with some thieving scum if that had been the case Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  5. What sort of dog is it Spaniels seem to be high on the dog thieves list especially springers Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  6. Hope you get it back bud but fear you are probably not going to see it again Bit late for this one but my 130 has a tracker on it from Tiso electronics in Cheshire cost about £200 ish and just has a pay as you go SIM card in it If you wire it in properly you can also.stop it by text by cutting of the fuel solenoid with a relay in line Also have one of the x-eng pedal locks on it as well Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  7. Will get a pick of it in use on Sunday and stick it up on a fresh thread You can see a catalogue pic here http://www.lightningleisure.com/acatalog/Frontier_Wood_Burner.html Currently out of stock but can get them within a day of 2 and a little cheaper than the normal advertised price for arbtalk members - just ask Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  8. And if either of you want your own stove just ask Sam where he got it from and he will point you in my direction or pm me and will do you a good price on it Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  9. No I did my training with Andrew Morton for 2 days and Sam did the rest of the week Can't fault Sam as an instructor and would recommend him to anyone - he is now training in his own right as well as an instructor for other training providers and will use him again when I can afford to take some more courses that I would like Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  10. Good bloke is Sam Had him round earlier in the week getting a frontier portable wood stove from me he is using it for his courses now for brew times and cooking and keeping his trainees warm Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  11. Once back at tickover the fuel flow catches up with the engine demand and will let you repeat the exercise over and over each time emptying engine side of the filter as demand exceeds supply Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  12. If the fuel filter is dirty it will rev upto the redline then after about 30 seconds it will gradually drop as the flow slows and the engine runs short of fuel down to what the dirty filter is limiting it to Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  13. This Fuel filter Letting enough fuel through at low revs and once under pressure flow drops off with dirty filter I normally wait until the 300tdi in the discovery does it then stick a fresh filter on and it's good again for another few years Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  14. I did look into the izettle but various Internet reviews put me off as they have no contact phone number anywhere and all communication is by email which seems to be fine when signing up but very sporadic if you have a problem Even though I don't like PayPal they do at least have a proper contact number for business customers and reasonable customer service most of the time so still use them as there is not much any better Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  15. 2.75% is high for a permanent dedicated terminal but for something with no monthly fees its not to bad If you don't take anything on card and are still shelling out £15 or £20 quid every month for something you don't use just to get 3/4 of a percent better on the rate you are actually better of with the higher rate and no monthly outgoing when not in use Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  17. If you have a PayPal account they now do a PayPal Here card reader which uses an app on your phone to take chip and pin card payments through your PayPal account The reader costs £99 and because it is PayPal there are no monthly fees just the usual commission Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  18. Does the hotel have any cctv that was filming on the carpark Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  19. The bit that you won't get told when training is that the assessment is just that not a black/white pass or fail test and the assessor if they are any hood will be able to coax the answers out of you When I did mine 2 of us where assessed together and the things we where asked came from both of us with help from the assessor They should be able to test your knowledge even if your nervous with questions that help lead you to the answer without spelling it out for you And as others have said even if you make a mistake as long as you know what it was and can explain what should have happened etc you should be ok The main thing is dont rush, keep calm and be safe Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  20. Put a couple of trolley jacks under it and give it a helping hand out onto the main road Then they will tow it fairly quickly and you have no idea how it got there Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  21. Luckily our stoves have flat glass so just get local glass supplier to cut to size from some heatproof glass cost about 20 quid rather than the £70 the stove manufacturers wanted Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  22. Because you can shop around for postage and or go to the post office without costing your time to do that They probably have a courier that collects with a pricing structure of x amount upto 1 kilo and y amount from then onwards To send a staff member down to the post office with an item that may be cheaper to post would ultimately cost them more in wages etc to do this I try and settle on a happy medium and anything I sell from my website in camping gear and awnings has a set charge of £5 postage regardless of wether its a 20 kilo awning for a vw camper that costs me around £7 to send or some thing small that I can drop at the post office on the way past and save a quid on postage costs Some I win some I lose on postage but its easy and it works for me Dave Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
