  1. The video at the start of this thread is 3 years old The other vid posted by the same guy identifying the company is only 7 months old May not be the same company although I guess some one with the right software could capture and enhance a still from the vid and identify from the high viz logo Regardless it should still be enough for the AA to justify a couple of spot checks or distance observations to see if they still warrant approval or not Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  2. Mine came from the potato merchant in gilberdyke in east yorks (can't remember what they are called) but a search through the phone book or google should turn up someone nearby you Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  3. Guess its down to how you use them I can get quite a nice rhythm going using the roller guide and sharpen a chain faster than using the plate type Just down to personal preference I guess Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  4. Husky roller guide Even though all of my saws are Stihl I think the husky roller guides are a great piece of kit Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  5. Would your little accident have been like the one my 660 had that where a tree ended up on it and won the fight Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  6. At that price it's cheap enough to try I could be wrong but the Stihl part number is probably for the bare tank only that will be a pattern part and looks like complete assembly with tank vent pipes etc so worth a try Have just ordered one of eBay for my 660 as the stihl part number was bare plastic casing only at £70 + vat whereas complete assembly inc postage was only about £40 for pattern part just need to wait for it to arrive now Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  7. Store mine in metal stillages and large wooden potato crates Usually put them in stillages stacked 4 high once ringed up and then bring these down and split in to potato crates which hold about 1.5-2 cube (never actually measured) I do only split for my own use and go through about 20 cube a year Potato crates I got from a local potato merchant for £10 each once they get battered around and they replace them they sell off the old ones few nails and a couple of replacement planks and they do me fine Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  8. Try 251395726274 Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  9. If you need a new cable I think it was j w o'pray in Hull that mine for the TU16 was from was around half the price of a new genuine one and came with the correct cable lay for the winch to grip spliced eye on 1 end and fused taper on the other and certificate sure it was only around £40 for a 10 mtr Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  10. Buy the best you can afford whilst leaving a little in reserve to sort out any problems and get it how you want it I would think a 110 would be better from what you have said above and personally wouldn't go any newer than 300TDI engined models Get a tracker on it - my 130 has a tiso electronics unit fitted with a pay as you go sim so no monthly outgoings on it Get other decent security devices again my 130 has the X-Eng pedal lock great piece of kit and so easy to engage you don't think twice about using it Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  11. 95 metres Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  12. But if someone collects in person and pays cash on collection the only benefit from a dispute would be for the seller in a refund of fees through eBay if he says the buyer didn't complete the sale And dispute raised by a buyer is pointless as if paid for in cash eBay can't refund them through PayPal as that was not the payment method used and you don't need proof of delivery if they collected and paid cash Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  13. There is a few older items amongst it but also a lot that looks very new You don't get that much of the same type of gear without using it, in which case it would all look more used than it does, if you only used it very little you would only have the 1 or 2 saws not that many The suspicious amongst us would say it looks like a couple of small hauls from a mix of dealer and user "jobs" and now needs rid of it Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  14. They may just be hoping for the last minute frenzy that will see it going for almost full retail Or everyone else is right and it could be dodgy Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  15. Might be a dealer selling through a private eBay account to get around the stihl no online sales policy Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  16. And if they fail in there job will go well with veg and gravy Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  17. Shouldn't be to difficult if you have the right truck to take the weight that far back Last time I had any building materials delivered the hiab on there truck was rear mounted and reached forward to the cab to pick up stuff and swung right round with a good reach for dropping it off Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  18. If the timber had been secured properly it wouldn't have span, it is inanimate and just lays there Who is responsible for securing it before cutting? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  19. Got my tracker from tiso electronics in Cheshire that is in the 130 and it can do the geo fence, remote shut off, alert on movement etc but was only £199 plus vat and no monthly fees as you put a pay as you go SIM card in it Tracking is via there web site but is free just log on to see where your stuff is after activating the tracker manually via text or it activating if geo fence etc set and activated As a bonus these units are also built to order in the UK not china Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  20. Will give JB weld a google and see what it comes up with - I think this will only be a temp fix for a month or 2 until a new tank and handle assembly arrives in the post just could do with a better inflow of cash at the moment than I have actually got Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  22. Might have try some seal all then I have used petro-patch before and had good results but on metal tanks which is what it is recommended for wasn't sure if it may have been worth a try but will try and get some seal all in the morning Then just need to be a little more careful in future Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  23. Will see if I can a decent pic in the morning The crack has gone back together quite well but it runs from left to right across the saw just under where your knuckles would be when gripping the handle and is split across the 2 different plastics making up the handle and tank and straight through the seam where these 2 plastics join I did contemplate getting the soldering iron out to see if I could melt it all back together but I don't think it would across the join Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  24. Has anyone got a 660 they are breaking for bits I need the rear handle and fuel tank as mine has a not so nice crack across it after a mishap earlier today and fuel is leaking out everywhere Or failing that has anyone any experience of the Huztl spares that are for sale on eBay - are they any good or are they junk as a complete tank and rear handle assembly from them is around half the price of the bare tank/handle from stihl Guess I may have to try petro-patch first has any one used this on a plastic tank before as it says only suitable for metal but it may provide a short term repair Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  25. Well glad she's back ok Shame she isn't gun trained and you weren't at the other side of the yard with a loaded shotgun just about to go out - you would have probably got the chance many would like to have with some thieving scum if that had been the case Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
