  1. The bit that's being placed in the road was because we set all the crane alarms off. Tony is the wee guy in the red and blue jacket in the poplar pics

  4. I found these photos today whilst having a clear out some are nearly 7 yrs old ish. ISA comps were 2006 Scottish and Welsh opens. Will hope to be re-entering this year maybe if i get enough free time. Crane dismantle on a Beech in Earlham Park Norwich (2007), Lots of people as we had to close the main University drive so only had 3 hours to complete the job. The Poplar job was done in 04-05 i think. Tony Sorenson is the handsome guy in the red jacket:001_tongue: (his first year at MJ maybe?). At Alby Craft near Aylsham, First time i'd ever used a speed line.

  6. Me too, I went to another company where instead of doing rigging they just got platforms and cranes in. Then i realised that i was better at rigging a tree than most there (only because were i used to work we didn't really use platforms and cranes) but very average at everything else. Also way below par on crane dismatles.
  7. I think that tree would of been a great time lapse photo shoot tree. All is needed is someone whos willing to click, click, click for free too.

  13. Dont forget the bigger and longer you go with the wood the heavier it gets. Caught me out once on site doing a milling only job thought oh 3" at 10ft on some ash....Well it was extremely hard to lumber about.

  16. One day then. agree on the boards for the greenhouses, turn as much into logs as you can and if your lucky you may only have one load + sawdust and rakings.

  21. Well just did 2 hours today and whilst out got a quote on one. Guess its good in that sense as i was only at the other end of the road so 2 birds one stone like. On the otherhand i've also done large villages and got nout.
  22. Very nice website. Enjoyed watching the slideshow of the fallen tree on the summer house.
  23. I do leaflet drops my ratio was 100 jobs to 2000 leaflets delivered through doors. Always pay for a good quality colour leaflet too glossy coat etc. Makes it look better than the ones window cleaners etc put through your door.
