  1. On unknotty wood you,ll be quicker than the machine for the first 15 mins (depending on your age) but the machine never gets tired, you will with your axe.
  2. That seems very cheap to me.
  3. I did get a ton out of it, but that was pushing it, dont know what was moving fastest, the speedo my heart or the fuel gauge, apart from the lack of speed for such a big engine and poor fuel consumption, they looked great and sounded even better.

  10. Put them on ebay ,perhaps keep the wood boss, eastern europeans snap these up .

A few years ago i run out of hardwood logs, one of my customers rang wanting a load , i said to get them out of trouble (and to keep their custom) i would give them a couple of nets to try and if they were happy with the logs i would sell them a load. They rang back next day and were very happy with the logs and they left a lovely fresh aroma around the house. It was conifer destined for the bonfire.

  18. Spot on mate, we must be the same age to think like this, when i started using chainsaws as a job: no ppe what so ever not even ear muffs and i cant remember one bad accident.

  22. Ive used a 6" auger on a 1.5 ton digger in solid chalk, each hole was 2ft deep and it dug them no problem, hope that helps.
