  1. Its allways so sweet to beat the aussies:thumbup:
  2. That looks a tidy bit of kit mate love the tool storage at the front and the roof on the back of the body stops the chips flying all over the place
  3. I think when big jobs go well get done quickly an afternoon off is a nice little bonus plus encentive for more productive work plus a nice cash bonus at christmas time never goes a miss
  4. Nice to hear was busy for you Andy will be making a trip up next year my dad lives up that way so will tie in the two will hopefully driving by then to. Looks like weather was OK for the day to
  5. Just trying to work this out ive got a ditsel on my flip line set up, how can you climb on it by literally pulling the rope up thus moving the knot and yourself anyone got any pics of how its climbed?

  7. yeah thats what I was trying to say I climb at college with my own stuff that I bought about 5 months ago and they never said anything about LOLER so far and il get it done when I need to (6 motnhs) Not when THEY want me to
  8. Quite suprised you need it Loler if its brand new it doesnt need it for six months and any insurance company will know that so I cant see why it makes any difference what so ever. Maybe the college want some monney from you for geting them to loler:sneaky2:
  9. Then you will have no worries braces arnt needed at all.
  10. Noooo, Hiax are almost the cheapest I think and IMO very comfortable. you need Type A trousers (front protection) and some insist you need Type C (allround protection) You will have to check as Mozza says nothing baggy realy quite simple.. Make sure you got your first aid kit and whistle.
  11. We do hop picking every year as part of our yard deal so was forced to like it. Dont no if harveys is up your way or not, will try and get hold of some of the beer that I picked for this year hopefully will.
  12. Its Impossible to tell what a bloke is like from a day as you and Mick have pointed out. A bloke could work his breasts off all day and you would think 'wow he is good' but then the next day he could be knacker because of it. Plus after a month his personal situation might of changed there for he may want more monney and if you cant afford/dont think he is worth it then he could be a right pain about it. A 6 month trial is the way forward for an Employee but for a subbie a week I thnk is enough:001_smile:
  13. Whats the difference between that and a 038 farm boss?
  14. Some may remeber 2 months back I failed 31 due to my own fault etc but today was the day I passed second time round a bit embaressed but I am not fussed Got a busy 2 weeks 31 today, Monday is PA1 training and assement some day that week, then tuesday is my driving test. All happens at once:thumbup:
  15. Unless I'm missing something I couldnt see why not? I was 15 when I started 2 years ago my boss passed health and saftey checks with a breezee, If needs be go out a get yourself a helmet and some toe capped boots then he cant complain at all
  16. Hi there, Ring up local tree surgeons from the yellow page/google/local mags etc and ask for work experience for free labour thats how I worked my way up and how most did, I started off when I was at school doing work experience once a week and worked saturdays school holidays etc then I looked into what I could do then I hate schhool and college So new I wasnt going there found an apprentership that is perfect for me. Can be frustrating at times a lot of monney involved and you need to put in a hell of a lot at work But it is all worth and now one year on after my apprenterhsip startted I passed cs31 (felling small trees)today. Good luck and keep a wacth on here its great for advice etc.
  17. Had quite a good winch tree feeling job today next to the road Alot of trees none very big but quite a good job apart from the fact I was on stop and go boards all day:thumbdown:

  22. I thought the same not agreeing with the joint coallition just making a statement about clegg. Wonder if the country will be sick of cammeron by then.... hope so:001_tongue:
  23. Its funny the other day everyone was saying how poorly Lib Dems done and even Clegg himself did, But surely afdter all theese mettings hes surely the most powerful man in English polotics Bye Bye Brown:001_smile:
