  1. How long are you getting out of a tank? I seem to be 1.5/2hrs depending on use
  2. Been taking a chestnut out with mine today. Cutting 11/12" on some bits and it has a good go and eventually gets through. It's certainly livening up with some use. Would rather use that than a 200.
  3. Couldn't see that on tapatalk. I know now anyway.
  4. Where are you based?
  5. The facial expression tickles me every time. Good find
  6. Get a Southdown with a filter stuck on top
  7. Depends entirely on condition. At a push £650-700if its in top nick. Have a look on eBay to get an idea for values
  8. our last company had a fleet of 30 of these bikes, they were run hard every day and they took a lot of stick, carrying 200ltr of water when full plus a big bloke and all the spraying kit mounted on the bike. They are good bikes and very simple mechanically. even if you get both and have one as a parts donor. you wouldnt go far wrong.
  9. Best repaint my truck then!
  10. Didn't know if they were a shop though? They are in Stockport aren't they?
  11. I love the 660. I found adding a dual port exhaust (find on the magnum/R versions) makes a big difference on the 36" bar. Which also makes a difference on the 25" it's usually sat on.
  12. They need one of these
  13. Very good. Chunky boots. Great in spikes. Bit less nimble than the airstreams but I find I can spend full days on my feet and come home and it feels like I've been in slippers all day. The super bright red eventually dulls so you don't stand out as much. I managed to stumble while wearing spikes and put one through my right boot. Just pierced it. Gutted. They still only just let water in from that though. Otherwise I've stood in ankle deep and been dry. Was clearing up in a stream and didn't get wet feet.
  14. I thought that once. Then I bought the zermatts
  15. I think sky land equipment are closest in Liverpool
  16. Discos are nice. Got one myself Mate was selling a 200tdi defender but it was spoken for and I'd prefer a 300tdi as its what I'm familiar with. I often have to travel off road for jobs so a transit isn't suited. A 4x4 tipper ticks more boxes for me. Even though the capacity is a bit less.
  17. That's my ideal setup. Landy tipper and disco to cart a log trailer. Currently half way there. Got the disco. Can't afford a defender just yet so a Navarro is filling the gap for now.
  18. We have a winner 20 bales with a bit of room left
  19. Johnny walker is looking for a guy
  20. Moved a bit of straw today. Who can guess how many bales are in there? Whoever gets it gets 10 street cred points.
  21. I did try to find tartan paint but was struggling to source any
  22. I agree Having the saw standard makes it another saw. Painting it makes it MY saw! Nothing wrong with customising what you own! So I don't see why it rubbed people the wrong way. It's only a bit of bloody paint!
  23. I might do mine again in orange but is the stihl orange or husky orange better?
  24. Bumpity bump. Still after people. Had nothing yet. Would have two groundies or at a push one. Paid on the day.
  25. I sanded the gloss of the original plastics then used a couple coats of plastic primer, some metallic blue enamel paint, 2 coats of that then a good coating of petrol resistant lacquer. Gives a good result. Corners wear off eventually but it takes a fair bit of beating to chip it or knock it off.
