  1. the money from that job should go towards a beach rolly. to accomodate the balls you had for doing that, it looked like it was going to fit, after doing the bit of trimming, but that could have easily turned those greenhouses into drafty greenhouses! either way. luck or skill?
  2. Found this a while ago, cant remember where i got linked from. But i read it from time to time, really gripping stuff and also says a lot about people! InsomniacMedic
  3. i would be interested in this also, sounds like a good study to do, something relevant!
  4. tom if you need to have a look at any BS papers relevant then let me know, i get them through uni and they are mighty handy.
  5. our 039 has 2/3 bolts in the front, siezed a lot and when i tried to undo it just snapped off flush with the muffler, i would buy a new set of bolts, should be easy enough. attached a pic to show what its like, holds fine with just the two.
  6. its a shame to see old buildings like that go. but i cant help noticing how imaginitive the name of that road is!
  7. i stumbled on this a while ago, its way cool! Im begging one of my mates whos good on pianos to learn this whole sequence!
  8. i dealt with two silver birch approx 18" at the base and the other was about 20", both growing about 8 inches from a wall and on the other side of the wall was tarmac, there were no signs of any disturbance by the roots. Roots will only grow in soils with low bulk densities, they wont grow into concrete!
  9. i did my cscs back in 08, when i was 17. i had no clue what i was going in for and did no revision for it, but still passed! i have the basic site skills only card. Still allows me to work on sites, most ive done is clearance work and then two small takedowns. just need to sign a permit to work. mines never become invalid either even though new styles have come out?
  10. From my lovely hometown of st helens! When does cher Lloyd have her gypsy wedding?
  11. When do you plan on sticking a saw at full revs into your leg? Not trying to be stupid but more accidents can tend to happen on rundown. When your moving and not thinking about the spinning chain as much. Although the chain brake should be applied whenever you don't need to be cutting!
  12. If that's the case, the Tun-it! Chips are plug an play. Just remove prior to MoT and your sorted. I suppose it can depend where you go and also how easily it can be detected
  13. It's a half prepared stunt fell. Prepared by a native tribesman of huyton! Definitely not me then. Toms the one who likes blokes anyway. So I've heard!
  14. Shiny black van me likey! Cool bike!
  15. What are these good for? Are they better on SRT?
  16. I've already got one of those shirts. Rather cool!
  17. Hi there, i am very jealous of how much you have there, and that is a perfect man cave if i ever saw one! Not wanting to be condescending in any way, but Monkey Puzzle is Araucaria araucana. Just wanted to point it out. Hope you enjoy your time on the forum, now youve started. You wont stop!
  18. not at all, more expensive equipment can generally be better built, do more and will withstand more of a battering. For example, the GRCS, its a lot of money, but its more capable of a lot more things than a £100 stein RC1000. Even though the stein devices are great, this is just an example. I use a tractor when i can, with a front loader, its an expensive piece of kit, but it makes my life so much easier when i can use it, so why not?
  19. i heard thats quite fast growing stuff, apparently anything Russian is!
  20. From what i can research and part knowledge, i would say it is a Phellinus genus, i would go as far to say P. torulosus Doesnt seem dark enough at the top to be P. igniarius
  21. Looks like id be going on an impromptu holiday! Resale value isn't an issue. I plan to keep the saws till they are only good for parts anyway so what would a little cosmetics change? Shiny shiny!
  22. Haha that was absolutely epic! The same guy does a few. Cat vs washing machine is a good one! Here's one that made me chuckle!
  23. I couldn't get on with having to reach behind me all the time so bought one. Got a second as a Christmas present with red straps. Use the red one as its easier to see. I love it. Much easier and more convenient. Your legs are always the same distance away so it's easier to grab.
  24. Had a bit of a go. I've engraved my postcode into the metal of the saw which is the main body of it. So now it's got one on it. Insurance wants serial numbers for their policies which I'm sorting out. Heres the cover off the 200t. Doesn't help itts already got a couple of marks from use but it still looks good methinks. it's had another coat of paint since that. Will have a coat of petrol resistant lacquer once it's all dry!
  25. I do indeed. The place is less than 2 minutes from me so use it all the time. Culcheth is too far for me. My dad knows the guy from mossborough anyway. Going back into history, the rainford family owned mossborough hall. And had something to do with the village of rainford!
