  1. If that's the case, the Tun-it! Chips are plug an play. Just remove prior to MoT and your sorted. I suppose it can depend where you go and also how easily it can be detected
  2. It's a half prepared stunt fell. Prepared by a native tribesman of huyton! Definitely not me then. Toms the one who likes blokes anyway. So I've heard!
  3. Shiny black van me likey! Cool bike!
  4. What are these good for? Are they better on SRT?
  5. I've already got one of those shirts. Rather cool!
  6. Hi there, i am very jealous of how much you have there, and that is a perfect man cave if i ever saw one! Not wanting to be condescending in any way, but Monkey Puzzle is Araucaria araucana. Just wanted to point it out. Hope you enjoy your time on the forum, now youve started. You wont stop!
  7. not at all, more expensive equipment can generally be better built, do more and will withstand more of a battering. For example, the GRCS, its a lot of money, but its more capable of a lot more things than a £100 stein RC1000. Even though the stein devices are great, this is just an example. I use a tractor when i can, with a front loader, its an expensive piece of kit, but it makes my life so much easier when i can use it, so why not?
  8. i heard thats quite fast growing stuff, apparently anything Russian is!
  9. From what i can research and part knowledge, i would say it is a Phellinus genus, i would go as far to say P. torulosus Doesnt seem dark enough at the top to be P. igniarius
  10. Looks like id be going on an impromptu holiday! Resale value isn't an issue. I plan to keep the saws till they are only good for parts anyway so what would a little cosmetics change? Shiny shiny!
  11. Haha that was absolutely epic! The same guy does a few. Cat vs washing machine is a good one! Here's one that made me chuckle!
  12. I couldn't get on with having to reach behind me all the time so bought one. Got a second as a Christmas present with red straps. Use the red one as its easier to see. I love it. Much easier and more convenient. Your legs are always the same distance away so it's easier to grab.
  13. Had a bit of a go. I've engraved my postcode into the metal of the saw which is the main body of it. So now it's got one on it. Insurance wants serial numbers for their policies which I'm sorting out. Heres the cover off the 200t. Doesn't help itts already got a couple of marks from use but it still looks good methinks. it's had another coat of paint since that. Will have a coat of petrol resistant lacquer once it's all dry!
  14. I do indeed. The place is less than 2 minutes from me so use it all the time. Culcheth is too far for me. My dad knows the guy from mossborough anyway. Going back into history, the rainford family owned mossborough hall. And had something to do with the village of rainford!
  15. I try and leave stuff on site where I can. My local greenwaste site charges £25/load and if I fill our 12' ifor trailer with mesh sides I could be looking at 1.5-2t if packed in well. Although it's probably rarely much over a ton. I just have to pull up and drop the sides. They empty it for me. They'll take anything recyclable.
  16. I've gone and bought some plastic primer, some petrol resistant clear lacquer and some metallic blue enamel paint. But would it be better using a brighter colour?
  17. inbox cleared, sorry didnt notice
  18. i am currently sorting out some stickers with name address and number on them, there is a sticker from my supplier on there, i will ask them for another one to put on so i will have a distinctive looking piece of kit.
  19. looks like its a trip down to halfrauds later then. Should be simple enough, got some good bits for the dremel that will do a fine job.
  20. bright orange. oh wait... I was thinking red or blue, red would match my boots! Blue would look good. I suppose id have to buy new plastic if its too dirty, plus then i have an extra set if it goes wrong!
  21. I've been having ideas run through my head again. With all this kit getting stolen left right and centre. Whats the feasability of painting saws in different colours to make them different to others. I was thinking of re colouring the orange panels on a couple of saws that I take out a lot. What would be the best way of making the paint stick and for it to stay on? I can imagine it would chip off quite easily. Would making the texture of the plastic rough by rubbing it down with glasspaper or using a dremel be a good way? Thoughts please!
  22. The guy who gets the work is a farming contractor mainly but gets some tree work on the side. He is a good friend of my dad so he gives me tree work when he can. He gets mainly site clearance and it's maybe 3-4 per year. he has a 200hp John Deere and a 12" timberwolf on the pto. Ideal as we don't take anything off site so we turn as much into chip as possible
  23. The damage may not be visible too. Hairline cracks are probably most common!

    Squint

I was in specsavers the other day. You'll never guess who I bumped into . . . Everyone!
  25. But if the oil is on the outer layers of fabric. It's not coming in to contact with your skin? Depends what oil. An oil cap fell off a 260 on me and poured it's contents down my leg and on my boot. Didn't soak through. Just left me dirty!
