  1. But the tree was originally on the majority owners land. Over time it has encroached on the neighbours property. Does that then allow them the right to cut back the 10%? What about the crown? Do they own what overhangs? It is technically over their property. I know they have the right to cut back but that doesn't mean they own what they are cutting. What about the boundary line thickness on maps? This has been mentioned earlier. Agreeing with Kev. I was told this on my BSc a couple of years ago. I suppose they are wrong too!
  2. With some email program's you can set actions that will perform a set of tasks and do what you wish. I.e. Search for specific text and delete the message. If the message in the text is fairly generic you could use a phrase so it doesn't catch any other emails you may want. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. Going from what knowledge I do have, the tree belongs to whoevers land it was originally planted or begun to grow on, if it encroached into another boundary, it's still the original owners. Go back 30 years of whatever, there will be no 90/10%. It'll be 100% on one side, ownership is then not disputed. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. All comes down to supply and demand.
  5. Looks like crack willow to me too. IIRC P. dulcis has a wider leaf Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. Sudden death and symptoms, it could be phytophthora lateralis?
  7. Might try that with ours. They really don't like slightly stale fuel. We had one that wouldn't idle well at all. Until it blew the spark plug out along with all its thread! New one is better. Use stihl hp ultra since day one on both. Drilling the hole may be an option to help it out.
  8. Usually in little side pocket on my right leg. Sawdust not an issue as I've got a lifeproof case too. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. Good on ya mike. Had wondered what you'd ended up doing! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. Hi guys. After a climber on Monday in St. Helens. Half day climbing and half day reducing a hedge. Contact me through here or on 07841128366. Texts preferred if its late! Paid on the day. Cheers Edit: if a mod reads this can you add 'Helens' into the title please! Thanks!
  11. If I spent 1k on a saw with a chain £40 a loop I wouldn't be letting it out of my sight other than when I walked out the lockup at night!
  12. Carpinus betulus
  13. ive ripped some sizeable ones out with a winch, very little digging needed, the odd stubborn piece but a mattock will see off anything putting up a fight!
  14. But would the chipper fit through? I tried to get mine through a garage/utility/office that had a few corners and no joy. The length of the chipper doesn't do it much favours for squeezing through houses. Looks like the tree would drop in one? There's a bit less work.
  15. thats something i had thought of but wasnt sure of the best way to stick them together. will try and save some drums then so they can be modified for a different purpose. thanks i get 35 ish nets to a cage too.
  16. We are filling lots of nets and could do with a way of making the process faster. I've come up with the idea of some sort of tube that fits the nets so they can be filled quickly. 25l drums are close to the diameter but not tall enough. Anybody got their own designs/tricks?
  17. Surveying today and yesterday. Perfect weather for it. Saw a couple of foxes and 2 kingfishers. Big lock for a little boat
  18. Rains are coming. Along with some lightning! Can see it from the bedroom window. Gonna be interesting in the next half hour!
  19. pruning spikes
  20. Looks like it was topped a while ago. Epic stem on that beast. Lifting kit doing all the hard work is good to see
  21. Filling up early into another season. It got stuck today. Belly deep with a full tank of water. Britpart 12000lb winch saved it!
  22. theres not much that is! apart from maybe bodies of water, but it will still grow at the edge! Has the OP got any further with the problem?
  23. Whatever's recommended. Probably 40-50 I think
