    ebay

Have you ever worried that an item that you have put on ebay is fetching to much money:001_unsure:
  3. There seems to be alot of cowboy brokers about at the moment. I think that some deliberately procrastinate in order to try and justify higher rates and more commission for themselves. Did you get it sorted in the end Jon?
  4. Just mowing it once a week should scare them away for the time being. I get them over the winter on the lawn but as soon as I start mowing (big rattly ride on) they go away.
  5. Spoke to the staff at the last site that I sold (about 4 years ago) and they said that they had sold 120,000 litres in the last two days whereas they normally do 10,000 litres a day.
  6. The larger oil companies have tankers with capacity to carry 42,000 litres of unleaded and yes when its a combination of derv and unleaded the capacity reduces to 38,000.
  7. I think a full load of unleaded is about 42,000 litres.
  8. Three fires lit tonight and every night so far this year. Very cold house.
  9. Wrong I`m afraid. It is far more likely that they are now working to rule and finding every excuse not to take out the deliveries. I speak from 34 years experience in the fuel industry.
  10. I was splitting some very large ash rings yesterday from a tree that was felled over a year ago and cut into rings five months ago and its still reading 35.
  11. Definitely slowed down this week. Only did 21 Barrow Bags yesterday and 10 booked out for tomorrow but the phone has been quiet over the last couple of days.
  12. Coincidentally:sneaky2: this method of sabotage was featured in a film on tv last night around 6pm.
  13. It looks as though its an out of date extract from the AIE Firewood Guide. Poplar has now been upgraded to 2.
  14. If this year was rubbish how come you have sold out already
  15. Its a myth. Been there got the t shirt. Just logged an ash tree that I had felled and ringed over a year ago and its still not ready when split into logs, reading 34 and sits and smolders.
  16. I have not read any of the above yet but I have been meaning to post that I see you as a God of Weather. Earlier in the year or late last year I was telling everyone that winter would start on the thirteenth of January cos a man on the internet who knows what he is talking about said so. AND IT DID
  17. Have you managed to save up for the yew that you were buying from me in July or has your mate fixed his vehicle or have you passed your test yet or have the people at the club got the money yet.... sorry I forget which was the last excuse and what order they came in
  18. I think that most people enjoy reading and participating in threads where heated debate takes place and sadly these seem to be few and far between these days. hence my next thread `Why are Tree Surgeons stupid and inferior to Firewood Merchants`
  19. Call me a wuss but I have a policy of trying not to kill anything. I end up chasing them around the house with a glass and piece of card
  20. Is this for resale or your own use? What area?
