I agree with everything in your post with the exception of comparing your father to teachers of today. Times and standards have changed.

You misunderstood me in that case. I did say that I think many teachers are a pretty poor lot at the moment and it is my opinion that the vast majority have basically never left school and have merely developed a bit of power (which they often abuse ) over the `other children` (my sister and also my partner are both teachers ) My point was simply do note condone or use violence against them..... Oh and that should have been current partner, must keep them on their toes eh

I think thats spot on. If you dont have a blanket ban our cute adorable saintly offspring's will surely find a way to flaunt the system.

The topic of this thread aside, NEVER should you encourage violence against teachers (who for what its worth I think are a pretty poor lot at the moment) that is just pure thuggery. Children go to school to be educated and taught to communicate reasonably. Hi Chilli, good on you for the change of lifestyle. I think its probably time to point out that what I say on here is not always necessarily my strict viewpoint but often its worth chucking a comment into the air to see what comes down, basically often playing devils advocate (yes Steve go and ask your wife again ). Steve I dont think that I have said that I`m concerned about anything but if I am going to put my name to anything I do like to do it properly.

Maybe not a derail because its probably the people that see it as a sideline who do not answer their phone promptly and the ones that see it as a full time bonafide business that go that extra mile.

I use noisy machinery but make sure that I feel my phones vibration and constantly check it just in case I dont. I know what I would think if I phoned a supplier of this type and they did not answer
