  1. Rons youngest daughter stayed at my house Saturday night for my daughters sleep over and because I havent got Sky we dashed back to Rons to watch the two races there. Leon deserved to win both races but was well and truly robbed in the second
  2. Did anyone watch WSBK at Donington today? Absolutely awesome racing. What do you think of the BMW incident on the last bend?
  3. Hmmmm... or was it all just a publicity stunt to get us all interested???
  4. I live in a house.... its a very big house.....in the country
  5. Where are the pictures Jon? We need pictures
  6. Falling behind with deliveries and processing. Horizontal rain getting all the logs in the barn wet
  7. No....... minimum per cube should be £100 in my humble opinion.
  8. I totally agree with the comments about Jeremy Vine. I was recently saying that its hard to tell the difference between Jeremy Vine and Jeremy Kyle. Once when he had a so called `Money Expert` on who was advising to buy big bottles of water and pour into smaller bottles to save money I felt like ripping the radio out and throwing it out the window.. in the end I just switched it off .. bring back Jimmy Young and the Legal Eagle.
  9. I am just outside Derby and still have the pile in the pic that I posted on this thttp://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/firewood-forum/31631-yew-good-firewood-there-better-use.htmlhread,
  10. I have a quantity of yew but maybe I am to far away for you?
  11. Where are you based?
  12. Still pretty busy and struggling to keep up due to rain.
  13. Yes they kindly did some out of warranty work for me for free and said do you want us to do a quick service on it for you whilst its here. I was going to give mega positive feedback till I got the bill....... and it still doesnt work
  14. That should have been log splitter service £352
  15. CORRECT.... When I owned petrol stations I would have customers telling me that I was making a fortune from them and when I tried to explain that I was lucky to make 3 pence per litre gross out of which I had to finance premises worth around 1 million, maintain equipment, pay staff, cover credit card charges dramatically reducing that 3p, the ruddy stuff used to evaporate and contract underground all of which I would have paid the duty on etc etc they would still say `I know your raking it in` so I would then offer to show them a fuel invoice at which point an expression of `does not compute` would come onto their face as they scuttled out declining the offer but still murmuring that I was robbing them
  16. Ah Barbados ..... used to go there when Bridgetown was pitch black at night time apart from the flash of some pearly white teeth and the only reason you would drive through would be to get to the Coach which was the lesser of the two pubs on the island. The best one being the Ship at St Lawrence Gap whose chicken in the basket was second to none with a nice cold Banks. But now I`m a lowly firewood merchant those days are long gone
  17. If you are saying that they are both priced the same and it is genuinely a tonne in weight then without doubt it is the tonne but it is highly likely that they are referring to the tonne bag which does not hold a tonne of logs and is much smaller than the cm bag.
  18. I thought it was another firewood suppliers accident thread
  19. It was a non arb related item that I was given and just wanted it out the way
  20. Not much interest in Superbikes on here surprisingly???
