  2. Not been on the wiegh bridge but eg one pallet of concrete blocks4" 72 in all i think plus 10 all in and 4 cement (one load) wood- green sweet chestnut stacked 1.2m (high sides) 2m long, twenty year old cord, and we tow a tracked timberwolf, nose heavey on the trailer and it does not sit down, it could be because its all a bit new? may be after a few years it will all start to sit down a bit, like we do as you get older. wood and blocks not on the same load by the way:thumbup: forgot to say i'v also put a predator stump grinder on the back but its only a ton so it don't really count, and you couldn't really tell it was on.
  3. Grass hopper say (kung foo) Time for you to leave, the green gwass snake slip fast, faster that the eye can see but only the fast green eye see the green gwass snake first, betor u dont cut ofer ur nose next timey:lol:
  4. my 110 hi cap 2011 is on the Wolf suspension HD, its not sat down yet and we'v had a lot of wood in it, high sides an all, green and wet, full to the top.
  5. Yep shoot them with an AK47, I'v just done a job with a 4hr H&S Induction, it then only took 4hrs to drop the tree, i'v **** it as a result my mental health is now at risk, i'v gone into deep depression and i'v never had depression in all my 49 years of living and let me say in those 49 years i'v been through some ****, my point is this should i now sue those H&S AH who gave me that induction ? one Q they asked- Do you have any medical probs? what should i have said? the list is LONG, so all i said is i do have a bad back from time to time, that was it, for a minute time stood still, he then told me that as i was employed by myself that HE HAD TO TELL ME that i had a bad back:lol: Its ALL PANTS IN THE UK, PANTS PANTS PANTS. I don't think he liked me

    Fuel Strike

I think this is the greatest sentiment i'v read on this forum regarding this recession:thumbup1: a lot of people have forgotten what HARD work is and how to do it.
  8. Thanks for all the imput, i will book in and see my own Doc who understands me a bit better, what i didn't say was the Doc who i had seen was not my normal Doc and that he was a she, but what was worse was that the night B4, my daughter who does gymnastics, was showing off her 6 pack so when i was asked to show my party pack i nipped out of the room picked up a marker pen and drew an eight pack on my belly, as a joke, when i sore the lady Doc the next day and took my shirt off my eight pack was still there!!. The Doc didn't say anything about my eight pack apart from my blood pressure was a bit high and that i could do with loosing a bit of weight.I don't box anymore and my own Doc knows me well, he's a good customer, thanks guys.
  9. I am ashamed, embarrassed beyond belief, I can't talk to my Doc, thanks for your advice. eyes are complex, I think whats done is done.
  10. Dilated pupil, i have also Uveitis history but about 20 years ago this is not related, Scottish? missed what you are saying. Thanks for all input. Doc's ? I don't really like going to see them, or the A&E Place or having a chat with them.
  11. My right eye retina packed in at the weekend , stuck wide open, spent most of the day in A&E after seeing my doctor, I was given the all clear eventually, my Q is this , when I told my neighbour who is a chiropodist, first thing she asked was have I had any trauma? I didn't like to say to her or my doc, but over the years my right eye has been closed a number of times from fights, boxing ext, is that what she means, or could it be from years of saw dust in the eyes? as a fighter I mostly boxed orthodox and pub, is this going to get better or not? when you lose your sight its no joke, any Doc's out there? and has any one else got any eye probs?
  12. Dominant clients! they are a pain, try to do whats right for the tree but explain your preferred Arboricultural approach,if a client won't respond to sound Arboricultural advice and if i'm not happy with the job spec i'll walk away, its hard to take this stance especially with todays economic climate but I think the reputation you develope over time will out way the clients you lose.
  13. I do think at £1 per tree you wont get the job, all deps how much you need the work?, and its a bit late in the year or is this for the next planting season?
  14. I second, it should be £1per tree. All of what you said is spot on.
  15. Its not got a recognised level of qualification within the uk so it would not gain you any entry points for say Australia or with the AA in the UK - eg qualifications that would are - NCH Arb level 2 , Tech cert level 3/4 and so on, its only from me doing qualifications at different levels that I can gauge an opinion, its just my opinion if you have chosen that route thats fine, don't worry.
  16. Thats fine ,but its just what i think as I have done both and more.
  17. It was just a wast of time and money with no internationally recognised qualification at the end, it would not get you any points. I would recommend Tech cert with tree life, it was the best one i'v done and most useful course and its very industry related and doable on a budget.
  18. Wish mine did, I just seem to repulse her nowadays, can't think why, it must just be all my nice habits and good looks:lol:
  19. Don't do it, save your money:thumbup1:
  20. I don't do majics or acid any more- got something better- I try not to eat all day and then just b4 bed after some red wine I do some blue cheese, I can trip like hell on that, craaazzzey dreams get all sorts of ghosts come and see me:lol:
  21. I seen that film its good but on another note, I wonder if they have considered cavity wall insulation and double glazing.
  22. Pressent it like Stupsi most arbs would like that and they won't fall asleep, thats not said in a bad way to you, i just know how you have to capture the audience's imagination, and what most arbs are like sat in a warm class room:thumbup1:
