  1. It is in a class of its own, you must be getting to grips with it now Dean, when i was at the show i did have a good look at all the others and not many will get to the places i need to get to, you photos demonstrate that well its so light, and the weight in the machine is very low, and it folds up like a box.
  2. The reason i ask, if it's your tree, it will be a first that the owner of a TPO'd tree demonstrates such concern, if its a client and you submit a spec drawn up from advice from arbtalk members you will need to ensure you are qualified and insured to a PI level to submit the specification, otherwise bite the bullet and pay a professional to spec the job and be covered by their own PI , best advice so far
  3. First things, is it your tree, or a clients ? Are you being paid to create the installation.
  4. Thats the best option, Husky wellies, chaps, ear duffs or a Husky hard hat, Mollevally farmers are also good value, the wellies can be a little cumbersome when climbing.
  5. I like these posts, get everyone a bit aggravated, or at least some people so my take , and all he wants to see is £££s 8 large Conys @ £250 a pop 5 Pops - reduced or felled @ about the same £250 each Total £3,250 + vat lets see how this goes down
  6. As i now have alzheimer's cant remember if ive posted on this one, yes i qualify and a bit. triple PANTS .
  7. Sunday ... !!! i don't mind Sunday work, i like it, gets me out the house, this job went on for a week or two, very big estate, we also put up the 5837 fencing , it was one of the best jobs ever, fell and leave as it fell, SSDC, tHANKS Jon for the offer of a try of your new 201 the other day aswell. Sorry 'John', GOT mendips on my mind
  8. 2011, what bugs me more is i paid more to have a heavy duty clutch from new as part of the Wolf suspension deal. If anyone from Landrover is reading this you're all ***** whos only interest now is selling crap that won't even last 5 years let alone the 10 year life span that's only now expected from any new Landrover.
  9. Did a job in Yeovil once, very big council estate , brief was to fell everything as fast as possible and not to worry about any structures, it was great, lots of very large Maccies just boshed over, best job ever.
  10. Thats it then, no more Magnums for me then, you would not think that that was all that it would take, i wonder if Toyota or Mitsubishi have many Magnum moments
  11. hI paul, stick a photo of Jon on here, ive been chatting to the wrong man today, is he with you tonight or Sonua, you staying tomorrow night ?
  12. Should of also said, when it went i was not towing , not pulling a stump, nothing on the back, no dog on board, no passenger, i had just eaten a magnum icecream. Pulled up to a junction , stopped, would not go in gear again, one of the 4 springs dropped out.
  13. Not got a photo.......2011 PUMA clutch spring, is that where or tear or failure , its outside of warranty 40,000 miles , what do you all think
  14. was you in a light blue shirt with one of your dogs and your wife ?
  15. Hi Mark, had a great day today, went all out on health and safety, bought myself a set of tank commando glasses from the arb show, awsum specks , got vents interchangeable lenses, so no more squinting,
  16. Of what Jon, me looking at a bottle of red wine, or a photo of the bottle of red wine, tonight i am mostly noticing a bottle of Kumale Ruby Cabernet Cinsault, Its very soft textured with a hint of toasty Oak and red berry with just a hint of spice. Lovely aromas, on offer at tesco at the moment at under £5, 13.5% great with cheese or just put it in a big glass and drink it.
  17. Found you, thanks Jon, tonight is actually one of my dry nights
  18. Dont be shy, and dont worry about what you look like, heres a photo of me so you can get the tea on when you see me, skimmed milk, no sugar.
  19. We could really do with a photo of you Katie, just so we know who to look out for
  20. Sorry Jon, dog got really upset at the suggestion, she got to stay with me. see you at thr show.

  22. I agree Jon... re Jess, you looking for a bad ass dog ? shes a great affectionate dog as long as you ain't covered in fur or feathers, if your are interested she would be free to you, but i really would need to think about it, and ask my daughter as she is really her dog i just adopted her and daughter now lives away and is not allowed pets.
