  1. I've just started wearing type A's and have noticed that I take more notice of how I'm cutting and where. Type C's may give people a false sense of security?
  2. Excellent, thanks for that 👍
  3. Fingers crossed then Matty. It is a grand little saw, just a pain with the constant cleaning...and to be honest, when I clean it it doesn't really look mucky and blocked! Amazingly tempted to get the drill out but it's probably a bit too soon. It did make a massive difference to my 200t though!
  4. How long is the little loop from eye to eye? My HH may arrive this week so will have a go at making one for when it gets here 😀
  5. What's the best way to get it oiling correctly? I've had mine about a week and it not been used much, but it still only oils about 50% of the time! Also, once you've drilled your hole in the exhaust has it started to melt the plastic cover?
  6. I'd be interested to hear how to stop the spread because I know a hedge that this has started to happen too. Be nice to catch it early!
  7. He wants to go to the doc and get his prostate checked!
  8. Thanks for all the advice. I'll be seeing him later after he's lolerd my kit so will show him then 👍
  9. Some of the stuff you've milled in your pics looks amazing Jonathan👍
  10. I've had a pair for a couple of months now and I think they're great. I've not had any stretch air but they're certainly better than hi flex. The zips on the back of the legs are a bonus when it's hot!!
  11. Cheers hedge hunter, I'll pass the info on 👍
  12. He's not really looking for anything for more. What happened was, he had a cheap one that his uncle gave him and they served him well for five years(he doesn't do much hedge work). They then gave up and he borrowed a mates stihl which he hated, said they hurt his shoulders loads compared to the cheap ones. He said there's a few in that range on the net and wondered if I'd ask on here to see if any stand out?
  13. Haha I've not heard that one before 😃
  14. Hello all A friend of mine would like to buy a hedge trimmer but doesn't want to spend too much. Could anyone recommend a petrol one with double edge and a rotating handle please? He's thinking between £75 & £150. Thanks Ger
  15. Flipping Nora, I didn't realise just how big the truck and chipper are!!
  16. 395. I have neither saw but you'd be better off in the future only having to buy a bigger bar, not a bigger saw, for larger trees.
  17. I'm sure it'd be fine, would be nice to see the principle behind an srt reduction and the ease in which it's done.
  18. Darn, I used to enjoy watching them! Hope you get your chipper sorted ok!!!
  19. Cheers Ian, I'll have a word with nod once I've had a babble on the rope I have now. How much is the cougar blue?
  20. Hiya OMT, yes that's what I did in the end. Spoke to him on the phone now and he said he'll have some more in a couple of weeks. Looking forward to getting one! 😀
  21. That was enjoyable👍 Can you do one of an srt reduction?
  22. If your arms get tired try wearing some rubber palmed gloves. Have fun 😀
  23. Got to wait two weeks for the new batch to be made before I can get one! Trying not to think about it to much haha!!!!
