  1. Given that the scenario would be one of a tort, surely the keys will be your client's owed duty of care and have they taken reasonable steps to undertake that duty of care? In my opinion they have most definitely done so, as evidenced by the schedule of inspections and work carried out. I can't see that it would hurt to have evidence that reduction/removal have been refused due to the TPO. Out of interest, does the tree pre-date the arrival of the neighbour and is there an alternative parking space on the property?
  2. Fair one, but a chat with Geoff is always worth it.
  3. Looking at that you have done precisely bugger all today.
  4. My cat tends to cause trees to collapse.
  5. I pay about £18 inc vat per can for 2t at Does in Essex, which includes a discount for buying 5 at a time.
  6. Yes, your story touched me deeply. I hope you didn't mind me sharing it with the forum.
  7. Whoever wins could be sitting on a gold mine. Massive 10ft tall Tree Stump Log For Carving Sculpture Monolith | eBay
  8. Would you charge extra for skipping?
  9. Not from the Dengie, then?
  10. Top man!
  11. What does matter is the site you plan to use it on. Some sites I work on insist on biodegradeable oil, not mineral.
  12. That's a fecking shame.
  13. Start with what you need to carry and work from there.
  14. Do your trailer test. Pointless having a vehicle that will tow 3 tonnes when you can only tow 750kg. You would be better off getting a truck and a set of ramps otherwise.
  15. I had been wearing mine for well over a year when the sole split and they never asked me any other questions than photos and serial number. They never saw the boots in the flesh to check them for themselves either. IIRC. there were a lot of complaints about them previously so perhaps they figured it wasn't worth the hassle to get me to send them in.
  16. I had a pair replaced directly by Haix when I couldn't remember who I had bought them from at an APF. Same deal, pics and serial number.
  17. Stupid boy!
  18. Always been my problem, mate, being a shrinking Violet.
  19. That's favouritism, I haven't got stickers for my 357 or 181.
  20. Great tree! I bet that's home to more than a few beasties.
  21. From the few times I have met Steve, I would think sincere as well.
  22. You wouldn't be going off half cocked. It would be reasonable to expect that the manager of the branch would be keeping head office appraised of day to day developments at their hotel, particularly something out of the ordinary like this. The OP is dealing with a chain of hotels via their area representative. My point is that head office are more likely to pay more attention if they have a pressing need to do so.
