  1. 'A snatch from the net'. What a delightfully appropriate description!
  2. Navara?
  3. Oooh, you old cynic. Be fair, there wasn't anywhere else they could have done it, was there?
  4. What is the Left wing equivalent of the BNP?
  5. Only if it's in your original contract. If you haven't put any time table on the work, the only thing you can do is to be annoying enough to make him want you off his back. My guess would be that he's running a few jobs at the same time and struggling to keep on top of them all.
  6. He's worth a hundred of you, with your nasty, little, aggressive comments. It would make a pleasant change if you actually made reasoned comments instead of just being abusive. I've held off on this until now because, tbh, I'm sick of the arguments on here but here's a conundrum for you; if somebody is able enough to go out robbing then should they not be able to work instead? There is work out there if people want it but too many think they are above grafting for a living. I have every sympathy with people who rely on benefits through genuine need but have nothing but contempt for those who expect a free ride when they just can't be arsed to lift a finger. My observations come from real life, not the media, in case you were going to run out your usual 'demonisation of the working classes through the medium of Benefits street et al'. If anybody thinks that it is ok for some thieving turd to rob a working man then they are as low as the thief in the first place.
  7. That's a funny name for a bloke?
  8. No worries. Give them a ring, they are good to deal with.
  9. Had a quick demo of one when I was collecting something else from Upson's. Seems like a capable machine if you treat it correctly and it coped well with some tangled up Hawthorn. I would rate it as being as good if not better than the competition.
  10. Like your style.
  11. Very unlikely to be a fault with the Aspen IMO. More likely to be a fault with the saw causing a lean mixture (air/fuel, not the oil in the fuel), whether an air leak or incorrect carb settings. If you are looking for a new saw, there are good alternatives to Stihl and Husky.
  12. If nothing else, it would have spared us all 'Buster'.
  13. +1 here. I have had a couple of saws 'Spudded' and they are great. Very good work at a reasonable price.
  14. It was asking for it.
  15. First time I saw it was yesterday on Facebook.
  16. Thank you all. Keep the signatures coming please, everybody.
  17. Could I ask people to sign this petition to protect ancient woodland, please? https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/118164/signatures/new Thanks in advance.
  18. When I met you, I thought you were born in Windsor?
  19. Have you not learnt yet, no drinking and reading at the same time?
  20. You're more forgiving than me, Alec. I would have got them on camera and then had them for criminal damage.
  21. Can't beat a nice demarcation dispute.
