  1. I was given an excellent tip or two when I did mine. When you do your felling cuts, to get the saw level practise with a cup of water sat on your bar to show if you are truly level. To get the bottom sink cut or back cut level, if you get the trigger where only your thumb will operate it, the handle will push down slightly under the heel of your hand and level you up both ways. Crap description I know but your instructor will show you what I mean. Good luck!

  4. Hope you were in the water at the time so nobody noticed.
  5. A Buddhist once bought a newspaper from me and paid with a £10 note. When he complained that I hadn't given him the left over money back, I told him that change must come from within.

  10. Assuming of course that he has no other income.
  11. Chucking down here in Essex. Finished what should have been a four day job yesterday in 3 days. Lawn was a bit muddy when we left but would have been a whole lot worse if we had been doing the clean-up today. Going to spend the afternoon cleaning saws and kit before getting it covered in crap in the woods tomorrow.
  12. They are very uncomfortable and sweaty compared to leather boots but better that nothing if you can't afford the leather boots.
  13. Congratulations to the winners and well done to everybody involved in another successful Xmas raffle.
  14. Rob D should be able to help
  15. The only time you will see me beat that is when the dinner gong goes.
  16. It wasn't the bit of me and Steve being chased across the garden by an angry Macrocarpa, was it?
  17. Nope, on the Richter scale when it hit him in the chops.
  18. Went tank driving near Winchester for my 40th. Excellent day.
  19. I reckon it's a climber trying to get a few quid for their pensioned off kit.
  20. Done. The mucky books will be mine mwhahaha.
  21. Don't neglect the scheme for the advanced rather than the idiots.
  22. Thanks mate. I reckon things are going to work out ok for both of us.
  23. Good luck, Paul. Hope you get all you want and more.
