  1. I have sold stuff on Gumtree and Facebook pages but there are a lot of time wasters and no-shows. I just state first to bring the money gets the item which seems to thin them out a bit.
  2. Video looks good, Andy. I see what you meant about cheeky shortcuts.
  3. I bought a duff Jonsered off Ebay which Spud kindly picked up for me. Despite being described as only needing a new starter recoil spring, it was seized solid. I started a case, the seller argued that he had described it as spares or repairs but got tripped up by his own misleading description, I got my money back and Spud got a donor saw. If the saw you buy doesn't match the description, send it back and get your refund.
  4. The item is not as described, end of story. Make sure you bring all that to PayPal's attention.
  5. The question to ask is why he felt obliged to offer spare parts if the saw was in good condition when he sent it to you.
  6. Didn't you have some correspondence with him where he accepted it was faulty? Stick to your guns, PayPal generally side with the buyer.
  7. Nice double entendre.
  8. Blimey, you're lucky to be alive.
  9. I told you to never try to take food away from him.
  10. Don't you bloody start I'll be safe as long as Geoff is aiming at me cos he couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo
  11. Hope everybody had a good Christmas and is going to have a great New Year. I have a few spaces left in the diary for January and can shuffle some jobs if necessary to fit people's requirements so let me know if you have need of an experienced, self-equipped grafter in the Essex area by PM or call on 07739 556764.
  12. But people need to know what I had for lunch and how I feel about reality tv shows.
  13. I've got my Trooper with Adrian Flux. They were the only company who knew what they were talking about and did me a deal on tools in transit insurance too.
  14. Don't mind if I do.
  15. Might have to have them as a security deposit against any borrowing.
  16. Might have some of Dominic's old Janet and Johns knocking about somewhere if you want me to look for them. On a more serious note, plenty of interesting WW1 or WW2 reading on my shelves if you need to borrow any.
  17. Fixed that for you, mate . Glad to hear all is well on the romance front.
  18. Probably wise, mate. Nursey not cutting the mustard?
  19. Let me see if I can find that tube of Deep Heat.
  20. Not too long, mate. After all, I could do with the work Glad to hear it went well. Let us know if you need anything:thumbup1:
