  1. Back on the Gingko?
  2. Well, for starters there is the soil build up on the trunk which can't be doing it any favours. When was the road put in?
  3. So he should be cowed into saying nothing, you mean?
  4. Assuming of course that he has no other income.
  5. Chucking down here in Essex. Finished what should have been a four day job yesterday in 3 days. Lawn was a bit muddy when we left but would have been a whole lot worse if we had been doing the clean-up today. Going to spend the afternoon cleaning saws and kit before getting it covered in crap in the woods tomorrow.
  6. They are very uncomfortable and sweaty compared to leather boots but better that nothing if you can't afford the leather boots.
  7. Congratulations to the winners and well done to everybody involved in another successful Xmas raffle.
  8. Rob D should be able to help
  9. The only time you will see me beat that is when the dinner gong goes.
  10. It wasn't the bit of me and Steve being chased across the garden by an angry Macrocarpa, was it?
  11. Nope, on the Richter scale when it hit him in the chops.
  12. Went tank driving near Winchester for my 40th. Excellent day.
  13. I reckon it's a climber trying to get a few quid for their pensioned off kit.
  14. Done. The mucky books will be mine mwhahaha.
  15. Don't neglect the scheme for the advanced rather than the idiots.
  16. Thanks mate. I reckon things are going to work out ok for both of us.
  17. Good luck, Paul. Hope you get all you want and more.
  18. I have sold stuff on Gumtree and Facebook pages but there are a lot of time wasters and no-shows. I just state first to bring the money gets the item which seems to thin them out a bit.
  19. Video looks good, Andy. I see what you meant about cheeky shortcuts.
  20. I bought a duff Jonsered off Ebay which Spud kindly picked up for me. Despite being described as only needing a new starter recoil spring, it was seized solid. I started a case, the seller argued that he had described it as spares or repairs but got tripped up by his own misleading description, I got my money back and Spud got a donor saw. If the saw you buy doesn't match the description, send it back and get your refund.
  21. The item is not as described, end of story. Make sure you bring all that to PayPal's attention.
  22. The question to ask is why he felt obliged to offer spare parts if the saw was in good condition when he sent it to you.
  23. Didn't you have some correspondence with him where he accepted it was faulty? Stick to your guns, PayPal generally side with the buyer.
  24. Nice double entendre.
  25. Blimey, you're lucky to be alive.
