  1. Not down here, it's not. It is connected with lunchboxes though.
  2. I could tell you but I don't want the points.
  3. You must have donated after the warning. Steve's very diligent about clique membership.
  4. I could make a lovely log pile out of the rest of it.
  5. Big Harry in a casual mood.
  6. It would tie in with the 'one contractor, 2 robberies' thing.
  7. Sure you aren't thinking of last August?
  8. Surely it was already broken when you got there?
  9. Sorry to be boring but make sure you have Public Liability insurance in place if you are inviting the public to access the woods. Don't forget you also have a higher duty of care to invited visitors than you would do to trespassers.
  10. Have you tried drinking tonic water? The quinine is meant to help prevent it.
  11. Could run an IS flag up on it then give the USAF a ring.
  12. Price the chains into your quote.
  13. I made sure the one I bought had a full service history and all the recalls done. I had more trouble insuring it as every comparison site said there was no such engine and it had to be a 3.1, which is much lower powered. Got it sorted at Adrian Flux in the end as they had it down as a 3.0 from the start.
  14. As long as you look after them! Mine has the Caterpillar unit in it. Pulls like a train.
  15. Isuzu Trooper Commercial 3.0 just up to 125,000. Lovely tow/ tool wagon.
  16. 1,000th page. Congrats on a great thread, Silky.
  17. Only the ones Geoff had borrowed(the ones with the rope burns).
  18. You could try Essex Arb at Woodham Ferrers or Ingatestone Trees, unsurprisingly at Ingatestone.
  19. A couple of people probably pulled themselves.
  20. They can't be that tight. I had one turn up in a marked car in uniform to pick up something he had bought from me on Gumtree.
  21. Ours is not to reason why etc etc
  22. One of the few who actually stood up against the Iraq war.

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.
