  1. My guess would be the major parties have more friends in PR and the media. Not sure how old you are but the Tories were notorious for scandals around the time of Thatcher. It kept 'Spitting Image' going for years. New Labour became the media darlings and there was never a week went by without some scandal in the tabloids about the Conservatives. Another example would be the recent revelations about Cyril Smith, which were kept conveniently out of the public eye for years by his friends in high places. I suspect that they are all as bad as one another but some have friends with a vested interest in portraying them in a good light, while others have people looking to shoot them down at any opportunity.
  2. I would consider you right. I found it in poor taste when 'Little Britain' used the same phrase. The story explained that Farage found it the same and pulled her up, but the people who were best placed to decide did not want her expelled, nor have they left the party. I also don't see where calling somebody a racist term is part of UKIP policy. By your system, the majority of the parties should be on the banned list for the actions of individual members.
  3. As I said before, it's easy to point and say 'racist' but it depends on what you define as racist. What you describe is not democracy, IMHO. You have to let the majority decide.
  4. I'm saying you seem to be getting a bit over excited with the comments you are making. I'd still like to know your source for the Nazi remark. All I have said is if you don't vote for who you believe in then you should be ashamed of yourself. With regards to UKIP, if you see my comment further back, I am not a UKIP supporter. However, the racism card is a cheap and easy one to play as it is such a blurred line between what is racist and what is merely unpalatable to some people's views. Where actual racism or similar unacceptable views or behaviour have reared their heads within UKIP, it seems to me that Farage has been quicker to expel offenders than some of the other parties. What I do believe is that people should vote for any legitimate party that they feel represents them. That's democracy as I understand it. To turn your own argument around, do you think somebody shouldn't vote for a party if you disagree with their policies? The idea of murderers and paedophiles is just taking the degree of the argument to the ridiculous.
  5. Past your bedtime, I think. I'm not sure which party you think is made up of paedophiles or why I support them. Please do enlighten me.
  6. Really? Who was that then? I'd love to learn more.
  7. If you don't vote for who you want to you should be ashamed of yourself.
  8. Have you seen this page on Facebook? https://www.facebook.com/farmwatcher?fref=ts
  9. For spamming, I think.
  10. Best camouflage ever, hiding in plain view. It worked for Jimmy Saville, didn't it?
  11. Actually, 'a 5 year old ' isn't a bad password.
  12. UKIP's value is in upsetting the complacency of the mainstream parties but I would be deeply concerned if they got their hands on any real power as they seem to lack any actual defined policies. They have successfully tapped into people's concerns about immigration, fuelled by the media. I have a problem with immigrants entering the UK with the intent of taking more then they give in return. I have just as much of a problem with homegrown wasters who have no intention of working to support themselves when they are happy to take from those of us who do. I don't have the answers to people already in the UK but the immigration problem can be solved by adopting the stance taken by Australia (I think it was Tony Rudd but not 100% on that) which was to say if you want to come to Australia to integrate and contribute, you will be welcomed, but if you want to come for other reasons you should stay away. I am fully aware that this country could not function without immigrant labour. I have no idea as to how I will vote but I am leaning towards the status quo as they don't seem to be doing too bad a job on the economy. No politician will ever do everything that you want but you need more to vote for the one whose policies damage your interests the least.
  13. I have to say that is rather judgemental. It could just be the local bike with a scag habit.
  14. And make sure that your terms are the last ones specified. It's known as 'Battle of the forms'.
  15. Check your deeds. It should all be in there.
  16. Fnarr, Fnarr!
  17. I tend to put some of my own signs out.
  18. Ah yes, we all have 'that mate'.

  20. Think how much worse he would have been if Spike and I hadn't weaned him off the raw chicken.
