  1. It occured to me that arbtalk should do a charity calendar. Plenty of pics in the lunge thread:) http://www.kinnoirwoodfuel.co.uk
  2. Correct. Whether you were charged vat or not on your purchase you must charge vat if you are vat registered. Under the second hand goods scheme you are not required to show it on your sales invoice as the vat is levied on your margin and it would enable a purchaser to work out your profit. Tour operators also have a similar scheme. http://www.kinnoirwoodfuel.co.uk
  3. Please tell me more. Howto with an android phone? http://www.kinnoirwoodfuel.co.uk
  4. so far this season I have lost orders for about 8 loads because I missed the original call and the customer immediately called the next ad down in the local rag. In all cases I had returned the calls within 5 to 10 minutes. Annoyingly for boths parties i'm normally better value than the competition they ordered with. http://www.kinnoirwoodfuel.co.uk
  5. Is it one of those rubber ties used to stake a sapling that has become encased / included as the tree grew? http://www.kinnoirwoodfuel.co.uk
  6. Very true. http://www.kinnoirwoodfuel.co.uk
  7. Unless your running 1000 plus transactions thru the account every month they are unlikely to notice. http://www.kinnoirwoodfuel.co.uk
  8. They have multiple accounts with all the usual suspectsopen all the time to chase rates and spread risk. http://www.kinnoirwoodfuel.co.uk
  9. Correct. Charge at 5% for end user / burner but at 20% if selling to another trader or retailer. http://www.kinnoirwoodfuel.co.uk
  10. That is correct. If you are vat reg. And buy without vat, when you sell you must add vat unless the item is zero rated or exempt . http://www.kinnoirwoodfuel.co.uk
  11. I hate these clauses and on principle would never accept one. They allow a vendor to dispose of an asset and the hassles of ownership and still take a portion of any future gain without any risk taking at all. By all means make a counter offer but without the clause. Otherwise walk away and let some other mug get shafted. http://www.kinnoirwoodfuel.co.uk
  12. Just to add I have found oregon pro lite bars very prone to burring. Had much better results with jonsered branded bars. Now someone tell me they are both made by the same factory:p http://www.kinnoirwoodfuel.co.uk
  13. Chain sharpness / filing issues are most likely cause. However if you have a new chain on and it still will not cut check one third of the way up the bar and feel (with chain off) for burring out of the rails on the cutting side of the bar. If burred carefully clean up with a grinder or hand file. If still not right replace both bar and chain and practice your filing on the old set:) http://www.kinnoirwoodfuel.co.uk
  14. they're hard men north of the border:) http://www.kinnoirwoodfuel.co.uk
  15. As stated that is a bargain for hardwood. buy all you possibly can at that price. It wont be long before the supplier wakes up and realises he is selling at or below cost. If the supplier is buying in cord to produce those nets he is definitely running at a loss. http://www.kinnoirwoodfuel.co.uk
  16. Thanks for the info david. http://www.kinnoirwoodfuel.co.uk
  17. Top tip billy. Need to make one tomorrow. http://www.kinnoirwoodfuel.co.uk
  18. So is the shaft permanently fixed to sprocket? Ive got the shaft and sprocket out of the housing and bearings (very tight fit) but not sure if you can punch the shaft out of the spocket. http://www.kinnoirwoodfuel.co.uk

    England

The third reich was crushed on the eastern front. The ruskies were not far from the polish border by the time the western allies set foot in normandy. The key turning point battles in the east were stalingrad and kursk. Later in west the normandy landing, falaise pocket and ardennes forest were the key battles that broke the wermact on the western front. http://www.kinnoirwoodfuel.co.uk
  20. Competition is savage up here at present. those who sell wet wood do not last. The main problem is load size. One guy near me sells for 30 quid a load for softwood I sell for 100 quid. His load is a small halfords trailer holding about 0.5 cube. My load is 2.5 cube. on the phone customers only hear price. They cant compute quantity. http://www.kinnoirwoodfuel.co.uk
  21. Are there any members who supply and fit stoves in aberdeenshire / morayshire area? If so please pm me. http://www.kinnoirwoodfuel.co.uk
  22. I nearly always sheet up. It keeps em dry if it rains or snows. It also stops them jumping of the truck if you hit a bump. http://www.kinnoirwoodfuel.co.uk
  23. hopefully it would see me past xmas:) http://www.kinnoirwoodfuel.co.uk
