  7. Tried that but i think the problem might be that it starts cutting at an angle halfway thru log and gets stuck. Thanks Zeb
  8. On my Hakki Pilke 1x37 I can put a new chain and bar on and after a few weeks cutting, not a great amount really the chain goes around but won't cut maybe halfway thru the log and sometimes jams, i can't see anything wrong with bar and the chain is still sharp any help please.

  10. I will turn the bar over tomorrow and try that and get another one ordered
  11. Bar is not very old and the chain is sharp, i think the wood is trapping the bar but i cannot see how.
  12. I have a hakki pilke 1x 37, when I am cutting the chainsaw goes so far thru the wood and stops, the chain is still spinning round but not cutting, I really have to force the handle down, does anybody know whats wrong ?
  13. Thanks for replying, its not very old, it has got thru about 50 tons of hardwood without any problems now it has started acting up, i have changed the bar and chain but it has'nt helped. Thanks zeb

  15. I have been having problems with my Hakke Pilke 1 x37 - the guide bar is getting very hot after 5 mins running and not sawing any wood. There is loads of oil getting through - it's wrecking the chain. Can anyone help, please?
