  4. no the small stuff is a bit of a pain by small i mean say less than an inch, the bottom roller is dead flat not dropped to one side , its gota be the top one then hasnt it ! if i hadnt started work at 5 30 this morn i would have taken a few pics and had a further look but all that went out the window when 5 oclock came around !
  5. yeh i did think that maybe a peice of chip was wedged somewhere but because everything is still running i havnt investigated further :sneaky2:it does seem that when feeding it there is a clonking sound when the top roller goes up and down like its sort of a bit jolty ? instead of a smooth feed
  6. would it still rotate without the bolts then ?
  7. im not sure if its me or not but today while using the chipper the bottom feeder roller seems to me like its dropped down more than usual ? everything still works they both rotate an the top one goes up and down like it should but it still seems like its to low as i never remember being able to look through and see the anvil ?:confused1:as far as im aware the bottom roller is in a fixed position right ? any ideas or is it just me being paranoid ? its a entec chippet if that helps

  19. get a 200 tdi or 300 tdi , theres plenty out there that havnt been abused but theres also plenty that have so id steer clear of anything that looks like its been dragged through a mud pit day after day . ur best bet is to find someone that has a bit of knowledge about them as theres certain things that you should check for but probably wouldnt if you dont know much about them , high milage ones shouldnt be disregarded if they have service history as one that has been looked after and done 200,000 miles could still be better than one that done 90,000 and treated like crap imo i wouldnt get anything other than a 200 or 300 tdi parts are cheap and ten to the dozen , the N/A engines were slow as horse and cart and the later turbo deisel had some issues ! .. and if hes thinking of buying a td5 then he has way too much money ! happy hunting
  20. just found it on ebay , definatly dodgy !! no address or location or phone number , and it reads "looks to be in very good condition " "277 hours but not garunteed" hhmmmm ? surely if it was yours youd know if it was in good nick or not ? also no feed back or history of the guy selling it AND he wants to contact outside ebay using different email adress !! still a bargain though
  21. have you checked to see if the engines there ! ...... probably too good to be true
  22. painfull ! very painfull
  23. yeh just had a look !! thats ridiculas isnt it having the nerve to be on an ABORIST website and say that everything we sell is crap ! good one ay :sneaky2:that will make you some freinds NOT
  24. 35 quid !!!!! bugger that im only a short distance down the coast and i can sell a level load for £110 quid , a hi cap level load is roughly 2 and half bags !!! never had any complaints yet
  25. quality ! stuff like this really does remind you of how far h+s has gone in this country !
