  1. its a new batch of red so that was my first thought ,happened while the weather was attrocious so may be some water getting in somewhere ?? flush it through with some white deisel probably and hope that sorts it
  2. hey guys , at the end of day on friday my chipper started dropping its revs then gaining then dropping and so on ,im guessing the obvious is fuel related filters etc but any other thought s much appreciated

  5. anybody seen the news tonight i just caught the end of it , a lady has been killed by a fallen tree on ger car last night near wakefeild ? looked nasty by the clip i caught the end of :thumbdown:anybody hear anything about it ?

  7. the company i have my P L and accident cover with have stopped doing tool insurance so im having trouble finding someone who does it seperately ?
  8. as the title says .got any recomendations on who to get your tools insured with ?

  11. have a look at tarpaflex there pretty good i bought one and cut it myself and added new eyelets for where i needed them cost about 50 quid

  13. there will always be people who need it and deserve it and there will always be people who milk the system and dont need it , if you could seperate the right from the wrong the world would be a simpler place BUT as we all know life just aint like that if you think about it too much it will drive you crazy . when i went and retrained i worked my arse off and saved and spent the best part of 5 grand ive worked full time since i was sixteen (retrained when i was 25) got no funding at all ,yet 2 guys on the course got it all paid because they were unemployed and been on the doll ! life just isnt fsir sometimes it and never will be , at least for those of us that dont milk the system no we deserve what we have so chin up smile and get on with it
  14. cheers mark , funny though as the 260 was knackered anyway ! it was his prize 288 hes owned for a number of years i think its sentimental value as well ,loads of other kit left untouched which is gona keep the brain ticking over wondering if they will come back ! just not fair is it ! i hope there really is such a thing as good karma

  16. well peeps this morning turned up for work and my mates had his garage broken into overnight all saws gone which include husky 288 28 inch bar 260 2x 200 t and a brand new 290 bought from jonesie around a week or two ago ! gutted for him so any one based south east you never know if you get offered a job lot get in touch cheers guys

  20. the ones ive got are originally from saturn knives and one set has cracked a while back ,but like you it was the bolts that kept them in !thankgod ,but i wasnt sure if that i was because they had een over tightened or run to blunt etc ,people seem to rave on about saturn knives but it has made me think now i also find they blunt quite quick anybody else think the same ?
  21. hey guys anyone bought any blades from BLADES AND KNIVES DIRECT ?? if so any good ? was gona buy the ones from saturn knives 3 pairs 150 blades for £170 but blades and knives direct do them for £150 just wondererd what the quality would be like or any other sugestions would be good

  24. youve qouted me so im guessing that was aimed at me ? but im not really sure what getting at i agree that kiln dried wood demands a premium but il stick to my guns when i say 99 quid for a bag of UNSEASONED logs of sodding ridiculas , your very patronising but dont worry when my mummy comes round later il get her to help me download the great bagnor energy chart and will look it over with a cup of warm milk before she tucks me in HAVE A NICE DAY ...........
  25. yeh that is one bonus with the td5 but with a larger intercooler ,better air filter and a tweak of the fuel pump a 300 is trasformed into an even greater engine (and i dont like the sound of the td5 it means you dont have to have your stereo so loud lol)
