  4. i use herris fencing but it will bulge out like a pregnant guppy!! use a scaffold board upright in the middle of the panel then a ratchet strap round the lot.
  5. as above but make sure the can you are filling from is clean....really clean. oh an dont touch the throttle, it will misfire, knock, rev etc for a few secs but leave the throttle alone!!! use genuine filters too as pattern ones can cause probs
  6. wow, this debate/discussion has been lively for a tuesday,, cant wait for friday's debate when some alcohol fuelled comments are on tap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. can we please stop de-railing & get back to the topic.. overpaid underworked staff going on strike......
  8. get over there an pick it up, if you dont somebody else will, engine should be fine, if its not there are plenty available, your options are endless, even if the engine was no good it's worth a reasonable amount as a non-runner??
  9. wow, i like threads like this one... i would of commented sooner but ive been busy tonight prepping arbwaste into logs, i think £120 for a cubic builders bag is good going
  10. im intrigued by this, ive never heard or seen about it before !! some mammals chew things for health reasons usually rat/hamster kinda things!! ive had lots of puppys that like to chew, yet they all grew out of it or were taught some obediance!!! to chew a tree like that aint 10 mins work!! must be a new credit rating of the burberry *folk* down 'in da hood' maybe?????????????????? !!! *crew*, not folk!!!!

  13. not all turners are a waste of your time, i will agree some are.... this is the same with anything, motorsport, woodworking, cycling, rambling, arb workers...... you will always get some guys who like to chat about 1974, '83'... '96'.... live an let live, find people you like to deal with an crack on, simple really!!!

  17. thanks for your replys fellas, some research tonight has revealed that the company i paid was recently wound up by creditors in the name of................. h.m customs & excise!!!!! i really think im on the road to nowhere with this..... but, i have to give them the chance to refund me.......which i will!!! another kick up the bum for the bloke who works for his money!!!!!!!
  18. for £500 unfortunatly, not a huge amount but by by no means a small amount!! thankyou for the kind offer spud, i have today got a new book keeper in place!! i have a feeling this will be an awkward one, sole trader vs registred accountancy firm who is now trading under a different name......... i will chase it though,
  19. recently i paid our accountant 'upfront' for some work which was then cancelled by myself due to a change in circumstances, between then & now the accountant has changed business names but uses same address etc, the cheque was cashed but no work has been done by the accountant, talking to them today they claim they have no record of any money paid to them by myself. i have bank statements to prove otherwise i no longer trust this firm & will ask for my money to be returned, i have authorised a new agent for my tax affairs, have any of you guys come across anything like this before?? i am not too happy about the whole situation. your thoughts please...!!
  20. 2K.... id be thinking about importing 4 thai lady's an starting a local massage parlour!!!!!!!!
  21. i sell small oak logs which are used in pizzaria oven type things, not in great amounts, only 2 customers have ever asked for them!! i dont advertise them, extra work in chopping so small!!! still havent been invited back for a proper stone cooked pizza either!!!!!!!!
  22. over the last few years ive seen various birds make nests inside farm machinery @ lorrys, to see a mum remain on a nest whilst the truck is out working then to return to yard to see dad take over with numerous 'food flights' is a reminder of how powerful nature is, its a shame so many 'unemployed' folk dont have the same sense of 'self-preservation'!!!!!!!!!!!!
  23. unfortunatly, with or without diagnostics it may well be 'guess work' unless you find an obvious air leak, the diagnostics will probably throw up lots of fault codes, most will be nothing to do with your starting problem!!! as said, using one way valves can narrow it down if it is an air leak, try bumping it an see how it starts..... has an engine management light.... (yellow) ever come on whilst turning over & not starting??
  24. you beat me too it!!!!!!!!!!
  25. big fella, likes pushing weights... lives in kent i think............
