  1. Cheers fellas was pretty solid wood till about 5/6ft high, were lucky as the client kept everything onsite so stacked timber left the rings where they lie and sawdust didnt matter as hes got a extention being built now so nice job really.
  2. This week has been a busy, hard week ending with this 200yr old Beech dismantle didnt start filming till after lunch as it was just to busy to be fiddling around with the camara rigged the stuff in the afternoon small as most of it was over the house roof and the client was watching also theres a massive well under the tree that side as you can see in the pics so better safe than sorry.
  3. Bet your glad its done and dusted for christmas!
  4. Stephen fry is our best one i think
  5. We havent used them since they have just been taken over by a new owner, might be that or maybe because your using a different depot the kings lynn depot have the matting they replace the plywood sheeting very regular because it ends up like paper once driven over on soft ground
  6. have the crane company not got boards? quinto charge us 50quid for all there ply wood sheets and plastic load spreading sheets, we turned up with the truck and trailer the loaded it with a forklift and away we went.
  7. They have there limits we took this 40tonner on some real boggy ground (a filled in lake) we had sheets of plyboard with the proper plastic type boards ontop crane had no issues at all, the 2nd day he desided he didnt need the boards and sank in the mud, no big issue just raised the outriggers lift the crane, boards under the tyres and away you go.
  8. Glad you got it sorted mate had the same trouble on 1 of our 125s not due to my maintinence though! it turned out to be the relays £8.68 for two new relays and its like a animal now.
  9. ahh yes theres always just a few pints to be had afterwards
  10. having a good 6-0 footy win acheing like hell now but still have a smile on our faces.
  11. far from the largest still a good size not the best pic its the only one i have not got all of it in. its the biggest of 3 in the house, it used to have seats inside. its at my parents house found it behind a wall which had a gas fire on! what a waste! its a old victorian pub. possibly the older half going back alot further after recent building work revealing some real old stuff.
  12. had them only on the rears didnt need spacers and even when fully loaded there was room between the tyres.

  16. think we took up enough of your time with our little list. we were saying we cant imagine how stressed and tired you lot must be its non stop in there with customers. hope you made some good dosh well deserved.
  17. yer i totally agree its far from ideal but if every chipper company was the same would we all be stacking the brash on the back of the truck? i dont think i would. i just hope there at the apf then i can talk face to face with them.
  18. everyone ive spoke to says the machines are solid and really if anything does go wrong there not that complex to mend yourself. if you dont get a vermeer or boxer you can go for the pointless kanga other than that i dont know of any others so what is the answer?
  19. i had herd they were bad at customer service, ive also been told vermeer are just the same and my own experience of them not getting back to me. but if you want the machine you want it regardless of there service not much else on that market.
  20. hi all got a big shopping list for the apf this time, also hoping to sign the papers on a skidsteer. i no vermeer will be there when i was speaking to the guy at the game fair, no dout kanga will be there again not keen on them but might have improved since then. really im keen to see and get prices for the boxers as i think this is what we want. any one know if they are there? thanks
  21. roads in norfolk are awful, takes a age to get out or around the county
  22. looking forward to seeing this machine at the apf very interested, we have 2 year old tw125's but this looks a perfect step up we need with no trailer tests needed! saw the bew turnable one at the east anglian game fair which was impressive but this looks much better. would love a tour of the factory.
