  1. hitch climber is the way to go! honey bros do a good deal on all you need HitchClimber Friction Hitch System
  2. Do you climb on a prussic or similar? I swear i've heard from a couple of people that their tennis elbow was cured from moving to a hitchclimber climbing system.
  3. I can't speak for the guy's personal circumstances, but in general, if a company is really badly affected by one cheque arriving a week late, it's doing something wrong. (unless it's a two week job, running into thousands perhaps..)
  4. another bump for this year!! not much love for this in previous years
  5. Is it really that bad? A week's wait sounds fairly quick!
  6. he should have hid in the bogs like all professional fare dodgers!!
  7. very nice truck stephen, but i'm having to squint!! bigger pics please!
  8. for the money you could get an art positioner, rope and carabiners.
  9. Well done. It's a great feeling! Have a beer
  10. i genuinely thought this was a track from the 80's when i heard it. really f ing good. these and kasabian are two of the best big artists out at the moment (only because they sound like they are from the 70's/80's/90's) [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sJQk0jDZx8o]The Horrors - Still Life - YouTube[/ame]
  11. i guess no winter edition then, as that'll look like no-one is talking.....
  12. it'll look good on a t-shirt in those colours.
  13. Great prize list! Am i a bit slow/have i missed something - Is that the new arbtalk logo?(mousemat) If so it's really cool.
  14. not a big fan i guess life would be boring if everyone liked good music
  15. it's all a load of bs! nothing good can be said about it. just diluted, bland, fake, pop. it's just awful. really. if any of them were any good, they could 'make it' like other, more credible sh- mongers and work for years to perfect the modern pop sound, which only really appeals to people who are audibly disabled. but they make loads of money and go out with hot models! well worth selling your soul, hey? i'd rather listen to 2 hours of hendrix smashing his guitar against his amps than hear a single key-change from one of these utter cretins!
  16. [scrooge]pah, i'm not spending any more than a tenner. if it was down to me i wouldn't have one. but you know, the missus ....[/scrooge]
  17. a device that lets you climb for a metre or two, then pull slack through is what you need. the spiderjack is the expensive option, or for about £70 you can get a hitch climber set up (hc, two crabs and 1.5m friction cord)
  18. one of the best songs ever composed, tingly skin throughout! [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_U5HpeA_WSo]The Smiths "How Soon Is Now?" - YouTube[/ame]
  19. we have two 2003 transit 90's, all i can say is DO NOT buy one. i hate them a little more every day. i can't speak for the iveco but i can only imagine it'll be better.
  20. It's the 'Buster Gonad' of the tree world
  21. i take it you didn't go on any roads with that load
  22. It's recommended, but i soon found out it gets in the way or doesn't last long being knocked about. best put a small bandage in your pocket imo.
  23. when retrieving, the spliced eye of your climbing rope will go through the pulley carabiner on it's way to the pulley saver. the redirect would then be free! awesome idea btw! i might use the idea but in a really crude, unspliced form.
  24. looking good!
  25. We always buy a 40pint barrel or two from Wilkins cider near Glastonbury/Wedmore when we're in the area. You walk into the barn to be confronted by three massive barrels like the one below and you get free drinks as long as you are there (of course if you intend to buy some takeaway, which is only 80p/pint)
