It's a love hate relationship i think. I do feel at home in a big, dark, pigeon poo-infested, multi-stemmed, 60ft monster conifer!!

the only pair i had was for college, 2 and a half years ago. that was because it was needed to do the ground tickets. since then i would rather spend £1 for a pair of gloves than £20. has anyone been cut on the top of their left hand before??

this is true in my case. in the past on a big or tricky tree i have doubted myself, then said 'dont be silly' and got on with it. after nearly 2 years full time climbing, i'm actually starting to reach the point that i can say i can climb anything and my confidence is quite high. climbing is good at the moment
