  3. don't bother paying £27 for an eye 2 eye. a 1.5m length of friction cord with two fisherman knots is just the same for a fraction of the price.

  16. that's more like it! the 90 or 120 litre ones are a good price and it does say it's meant for 'lugging'! kit bag's are meant for chucking about. i can't be dealing with gently placing it everytime i move it on and off the truck.

  20. I've had a stein before, the wooden board snapped in several places quite quickly, the zips broke and the stitching fell apart. I then got a husky bag. The wooden board broke almost immediatly and recently (after less than a year) the stitching either side of the main zip has exploded, leaving two massive holes. I'm not going to buy either of them again so what are the other options for <£35?

  22. Why use it on a 200t? I sharpen mine once a week or fortnight as it is, and that's only because it get's a bit dull.

  24. Can't beat a post-knocker for big post n' rail jobs! I used to work with an old david brown with a dodgy and very dangerous post knocker. That set up looks alot nicer.
