  1. Now it?s tractor power for Chris (From The Bolton News)
  2. shaun, you cannot kill an apple tree. they are one of the most resilient species of tree out there! with this in mind, prune any time. but if removing all growth, new shoots won't produce apples for a couple of years.
  3. i think our ambulance is going, i don't want to get rid of it, but we recently got this transit and fell in love with it!
  4. Thanks, Fungus. Very interesting - must of been one hell of a trip! My main point was not what the fruit was or what/who told her, it was the latter part of the post.
  5. Another flaw in christianity is the whole adam and eve thing. So, a talking snake told eve to eat an apple that god told her not to do. Eve had no concept of, or could comprehend the implications of, evil/wrong etc. So how did she do the wrong thing before 'wrong' was invented?
  6. Shaun (button1803) and myself had a go at some topiary hedging today. Going back in october to do the taller ones in the background and others.
  7. its classed as a semi pro camera i think, but simple enough to use as it has auto shooting modes. you can't use the screen as a view finder afaik. we have a 550d as well, such a good camera!
  8. I tried researching the genesis flood a while back. I couldn't find any logical explanation of how 2 of (or 7?) each species on earth was located and put onto a boat. There is at least 3 million species of animal on earth, ok alot would be sea dwelling creatures, but what about the rest? fresh water fish? microscopic organisms that couldn't survive salt water for 40 days? and finally... Dinosaurs! how the '' could anyone get them onto a boat, without a) dying in the process or b) all the other animals dying.... if someone can fill me in i would appreciate it.
  9. Just got back from a holiday in the west country. I saw this and instantly thought of you, hamy! ( ) It's at the bottom of the hill leading upto West Kennet Long Barrow ancient burial chamber, nr Avebury It was completely hollow in the trunk, with several holes coming off it.
  10. I would say £400 taken away, bit less if they keep all chip and logs in cord length. (re:arguements, come one guys! you 'grown men' seem to argue ALOT more than us youngun's!) Maybe an admin should delete all non related posts for the reputation of arbtalk
  11. "Maaatt Daamon" "Herrrooo!"
  12. that mine clearing machine looked like just the job for big stumps!!
  13. I take it all back then! Not really, North Essex should be Suffolk really. You wouldn't believe North and South Essex are the same county!

  21. it was picture 5 that sealed the deal 2 bedroom flat for sale in Trinity Church Court, Trinity Road, Scarborough, YO11
  22. I was saying to my workmate that it's probably for the best we didn't win. That kind of money is only going to make your life worse. You couldn't live the same nice life with genuine friends who like you, not the money. If I did win I would probably give £150m to charities and share the rest between family and friends. Good luck to them!
  23. two of them have gone really red since i posted last....
  24. They're a bit more realistic!
  25. always enjoy the music on your videos. nice mellow contrast to the hardcore tree work!
