  1. £145,000 if I read the books right last year
  2. Had some hires for the Cormidi just about paid for it now, just looking for attachments now
  3. Didn’t you say that about a wheeled loader a while back?
  4. I keep telling myself just that, however without her financial abilities I’d have been broke before I started Also you don’t have the set you are missing tracked and wheeled chipper, tracked compact tractor and a bulldozer everyone should have a bulldozer god knows what you’d do with it but it sure looks good in the yard!
  5. You have answered your own question, take it out before it falls over tulip declines very quickly I wouldn’t wait much longer
  6. To add the other view loaders carry far more than a digger and faster, hay making across site makes a mess and contaminates tracking a digger across a lawn cuts it up very quickly in the wet small skid steers make almost the same mess as tracks and far more when they get stuck and grass tyres in the wet just sit and spin diggers are easy to hire loaders more difficult to find I share your opinion of the stump grinder really if your going down the machine route to replace labour you need options, diggers loaders and dumpers both wheeled and tracked with multiple attachments, I keep saying this to the Mrs she refuses to believe me
  7. Sale by insolvency, want to hope they don’t owe you money
  8. The screwfix/ tool station tools are made to a price point, you will drive yourself screwy trying to compare models etc choose your maker then your range and stick to it, the makita range is far bigger but there batteries let them down big time. given what you are going to do you will never get to find out, you won’t go far wrong with what you have bought, so long as you don’t intend to use them 9 hrs a day 6 days a week make sure you have registered the batteries and tools for extended warranty then most of all enjoy using them
  9. Pictures?
  10. I’m not trying to stick up for arborisk here, I have travelled all over the uk for the last 30 years with saws, chipper tractors etc and have always been told and assumed that the tools in the truck were not insured at night, this has made us very careful of where we stay, we never now use any of the major hotels unless we can jamb the vehicles much preferring out of the way private bed and breakfast.we have also invested in multiple chains and steel tool boxes. My broker has always insisted we have extra padlocks on the doors and lock everything inside the vehicle. It’s up to you to stop the thefts not rely on a payout once they have occurred
  11. Where’s the translate button
  12. You forgot the grenadier I would wait
  13. I was offered for my 130 £4500 2000 yr, it has 15p engine and 480000 on the clock
  14. Unusual species have you had a little dig around ? Got any time to prepare ? Would try to move in late spring if possible , have you worked out how big a crane you will need and method of access. Have you thought of boxing up and moving with bulldozer bigger rootball and cheaper
  15. Tree spade or hand dig? Soil type exposed or sheltered ?
  16. Quite a few years back I had policy with iron trades who covered tools everywhere, had van stolen in wales paid out on tools no problem, currently with aviva have refused tool cover wasn’t worth the expense only large capital items covered now
  17. Come over have a look see what you think, staff are in demand especially those who work,
  18. Have you thought of the woodland trust?
  19. dumper

    trunk damage

Ride on lawn mower?,bit long for strimmer but my money is. On mechanical maybe poor handling before planting would be nice to see closeup pic
  20. Out of the three I would consider a greenmech back up is fantastic, although most of the parts should be available your side of the pond and they are bomb proof Canada is just a short boat ride away
  21. Not as good quality as Milwaukee ,Panasonic or bosch had a lot of problems with them on high drain tools , angle grinders and saws batteries kept dieing. Goood batteries talk between the tool and battery to manage heat charge and drain makita don’t seem to have this right. Used next to Milwaukee or bosch you will see the poorer run times, however there range of tools is big there back up is very good, and if you don’t have Any other makes to compare are perfectly good to use
  22. I have planted hedges for last 40 odd years one of the best was notched into the ground, and heavily mulched with old straw fenced with stock mesh to keep people and livestock away then beaten up twice, you can do a lot of planting for the cost of guards and stakes,if it’s really dry run a tanker down the line late in the day, I think lack of water kills many plants
  23. Shame they have the worst batteries
  24. New tines are not expensive
  25. Did one in Southampton last year charged us £24 / metre hire for one week including up and down for 160 metre plus large turning area and cleaning after use
