  1. Had a 300 tdi used to tow bandit 90 no problems played with intercooler and had variable vane turbo fitted and little upgrade on pump, think we also had a fiddle in the gear boxes did 400,000 miles swapped to td5 due to emmissions still on the road now
  2. Look at the landrover made by bullet who make the cat I’ve had mine two yrs no complaints
  3. 10 acres he needs a tractor will be on the loader all weekend trying to cut the grass has he thought of trailed gangs behind the loader
  4. Depends on which loader you have, you can waste a lot of hp powering relatively small decks I’ve had a mini loader for twenty years and never considered a rotary deck maybe alright if your cutting your own grass, but how many contractors do you see using one there are better machines on the market that cut grass cheaper,
  5. I’ve made a start on mine 1
  6. Not wanting to be left out 306 kgs
  7. Then don’t go to 11m and give yourself a bit of leeway on the ten so stay at nine to be safe!
  8. You sure about age?
  9. Cautrac in colchester think tracks are 230,72 39 but check
  10. Forgot dig a good planting pit and mulch lots of it desiccation kills a lot of moved trees
  11. If you can wait till March odds get better, success depends on the size of the root ball, you will need mini loader to lift rootball keep the soil really tight use plenty of chicken wire and undercut with a steel cable if you can get your hands on a Newman frame even better use rachet straps to bind the tree to the ball stake the tree well in new position using tripod above ground guys water well and instal a water system
  12. One of these turns up in the yard regularly to chip the old gas pipes looks a bit rough now and the soil on the pipes must blunt the blades
  13. £145,000 if I read the books right last year
  14. Had some hires for the Cormidi just about paid for it now, just looking for attachments now
  15. Didn’t you say that about a wheeled loader a while back?
  16. I keep telling myself just that, however without her financial abilities I’d have been broke before I started Also you don’t have the set you are missing tracked and wheeled chipper, tracked compact tractor and a bulldozer everyone should have a bulldozer god knows what you’d do with it but it sure looks good in the yard!
  17. You have answered your own question, take it out before it falls over tulip declines very quickly I wouldn’t wait much longer
  18. To add the other view loaders carry far more than a digger and faster, hay making across site makes a mess and contaminates tracking a digger across a lawn cuts it up very quickly in the wet small skid steers make almost the same mess as tracks and far more when they get stuck and grass tyres in the wet just sit and spin diggers are easy to hire loaders more difficult to find I share your opinion of the stump grinder really if your going down the machine route to replace labour you need options, diggers loaders and dumpers both wheeled and tracked with multiple attachments, I keep saying this to the Mrs she refuses to believe me
  19. Sale by insolvency, want to hope they don’t owe you money
  20. The screwfix/ tool station tools are made to a price point, you will drive yourself screwy trying to compare models etc choose your maker then your range and stick to it, the makita range is far bigger but there batteries let them down big time. given what you are going to do you will never get to find out, you won’t go far wrong with what you have bought, so long as you don’t intend to use them 9 hrs a day 6 days a week make sure you have registered the batteries and tools for extended warranty then most of all enjoy using them
  21. Pictures?
  22. I’m not trying to stick up for arborisk here, I have travelled all over the uk for the last 30 years with saws, chipper tractors etc and have always been told and assumed that the tools in the truck were not insured at night, this has made us very careful of where we stay, we never now use any of the major hotels unless we can jamb the vehicles much preferring out of the way private bed and breakfast.we have also invested in multiple chains and steel tool boxes. My broker has always insisted we have extra padlocks on the doors and lock everything inside the vehicle. It’s up to you to stop the thefts not rely on a payout once they have occurred
  23. Where’s the translate button
  24. You forgot the grenadier I would wait
  25. I was offered for my 130 £4500 2000 yr, it has 15p engine and 480000 on the clock
