Timb-a-haul at Hevingham also do alot of stump worm for the forestry commission. -
Hi Gollum, they are neither, they have been grown in compost in a trench and are lifted from the trench in 3metre lengths of hedge with the compost still in place.

I'm about to plant 14m of 6' high hornbeam instant hedging, but its about 2' higher than I really want it to be. Should I a: plant it, water it, let it get established for a year and then cut it back hard or b: plant it water it and cut it back immediately and keep watering it in the hope it doesn't die I'm a bit worried that if i cut it back straight away it may kill it with all the dry weather although I will continue to water it from my storage tank. Any knowledge on the matter is appreciated:confused1:

Sorry but I dont understand how an "app" can track your mpg. All you need to do is work out how many gallons you put in and how many miles you did and do the maths. Maybe you can put me right:confused1:

I worked for a guy once and was using a felling head on a woodchipper near Swaffham, parked it up over the weekend and when i got there on monday morning, the felling head, ALL hydraulic oil and the indicator lenses had been stolen. Its unbelievable what lengths these scum will go to. One piece of advice I will give you is to keep your eyes on the forestry journal classifieds for about a year, as thats where this one turned up Hope you find it soon
