1. If you can get a trade supplier to treat you, you will be very lucky coz its not cheap. I AM very lucky and am going with Komatsu Forest who booked a whole hotel 4 years ago, but you will probably find it quite difficult to get a hotel within 30 miles of the show now as they get booked up very early. I wish you good luck if you do try. If you havent been before, you will need AT LEAST 2 days to look round the show properly, preferably 3. Its massive, but very impressive and well worth the trip. As far as organised trips are concerned, it may be worth contacting Forestry Journal, they would probably know if any were arranged and Anne Berry was there 4 years ago.
2. Understandable comment but it was dark and filled with water so looked like a puddle!
3. My wife was driving along a back road this evening in the dark and hit a pothole which was out from the edge of the road. It has smashed two alloy wheels, written off 2 nearly new tyres and we think damaged the front suspension. Car has had to be collected by recovery truck and will be taken to main dealer tomorrow. Have spoken to insurance and they think we are covered. Anyone know how we stand regarding claiming against the council for the damage or is that the problem of the insurance company. She was not speeding (I can vouch for that as i was passenger) and was doing nothing wrong. Woodworm
4. Whats the score now please.
5. What the hell are you doing playing with trees Steve?, you should be in the advertising industry!!
6. Dont know where you are but i left Orford near Woodbridge at 8.30pm (2 1/2 hrs ago) and there was 2" of snow on the ground and it was snowing like hell !!
7. SO WHAT DIAMETER AND LENGTHS DO YOU WANT??????
8. Good luck to them. Driving restrictions/tachographs, servicing every 6 weeks, loading in the rain/sleet/snow, away from home a lot. they deserve every penny. The profit is there if they have full time work, but that isn't always the case. If you want reliable hauliers, they also have to renew or at least update their lorries/trailers/cranes fairly regularly. I definately wouldn't want to do it
9. That Arbro head looks very impressive for an 8 tonne machine. The speed its works at is incredible for such a small compact machine
10. Thanks to Mark at Skyland, recieved my Husky jacket today and it fits perfectly. Sooo happy. Well done to Steve and all who donated prizes and those who bought tickets, a great total to a great cause:thumbup:
11. Or Peter Lord Forestry, he also has a big Jenz and would prob be interested. He's on the web.
12. Well done once again Steve, you done a great job. Am really pleased to have a winning ticket for the 4th time in 4 years, looking forward to receiving my jacket.

Hiya Mark. Thanks so much for donating the prize that I won. (The husqvarna Jacket). Have been really lucky and won something every year that I have entered the draw. Many thanks to people like yourself for donating the prizes, as without your (and other prize givers) generosity, there would be no raffle.

Size would probably have to be either XXL or 3XL as I am about 18 stone and 6'4" with 50" chest

14. Hi Tony, I think Blademaster at Brandon have (or used to have) a kindlet or something similar. May be worth a try. Mike
15. Good on ya fella. Looks a bit like Brancaster to me. Been to Holkham beach today with the dogs. Absolutely packed with people/dogs/horses, but a lovely walk though there is no way I would have considered going for a swim!!!
16. Fantastic charity and brilliant that the £5k milestone has been exceeded. Good to know what the charity is all about aswell. Thanks Jo
17. I used to have a merc vito and go round collecting waste cooking oil for a company. They used to pay for my fuel and as part of that we would used recycled cooking oil, cleaned to the nth degree (they now process over 1 million litres year). It used to make my vito run quieter and increased mpg by approx 4-5 mpg. We also have an injector fault which comes up on the computer of the tree harvester and we just put 1 litre of engine oil in the fuel tank and it clears the fault within two mins every time.
18. Cant wait for the live draw. Just bought another £10 worth. Want to see that total hit £5k

20. Last week, my wife and I were getting into bed. As our passion began to heat up she said, "I don't feel like it. I just want you to hold me." I said, "WHAT?! What was that?!" She said, "You're just not in touch with my emotional needs as a woman enough for me to satisfy your physical needs as a man." She responde...d to my puzzled look by saying, "Can't you just love me for who I am and not what I do for you in the bedroom?" Realizing that nothing was going to happen that night, I went to sleep. The next day I took off of work to spend time with her. We went out to a nice lunch and then went shopping at a big department store. I walked around with her as she tried on several very expensive outfits. She couldn't decide which one to take, so I told her we'd just buy them all. She wanted new shoes to go with her new clothes, so I said, "Lets get a pair for each outfit." We went on to the j3welry counter where she picked out a pair of diamond earrings. She was so excited. I started to think she was testing me because she asked for a tennis bracelet. I threw her for a loop when I said, "That's fine, honey." She was nearing sexual satisfaction from all of the excitement. Smiling with excited anticipation, she finally said, "I think this is all dear, let's go to the cashier." I could hardly contain myself when I blurted out, "No baby, I don't feel like it." Her face went completely blank as her jaw dropped with a baffled, "WHAT?" I said, "Honey! I just want you to HOLD this stuff for a while. You're just not in touch with my financial needs as a man enough for me to satisfy your shopping needs as a woman." Just when she had this look like she was going to kill me, I added, "Why can't you just love me for who I am and not for the things I buy you?" Apparently I'm not having sex tonight either... but at least she knows I'm smarter than her.
