  1. Exactly, the cynical side of me says we could run cars on hydrogen now but the oil fat cats want to bleed every last penny of what oil there is left.. That is of course me being cynical, isn't it? Sent from Rob's GalaxySII
  2. I like that insert from kane, good little read:biggrin: Kinda how I feel about my research, I want it to be understood by the masses but be "scientific" enough to be recognised. Sent from Rob's GalaxySII

  5. How visually impaired would one have to be? Surely assessing the amenity value in this case is a wholly visual subject? If it was affecting me, I'm not sure how confident I'd be in a "blind" persons judgement on a visual matter. Although unfortunately in this day and age would my view be deemed as prejudicial? Is it equal rights gone mad? Sent from Rob's GalaxySII
  6. Can't open that document on me phone? What does it say? Sent from Rob's GalaxySII

  19. Sorry matt, that kinda came out a bit harsh and it didn't mean to be, it was late and I get when wound up easily:001_rolleyes: I like everything to be as said or stated, to be clear, and correctly so at that No harm in saying when wrong, a do a lot if the time, its how we learn:thumbup: Sent from Rob's GalaxySII
  20. Shouldn't it be done now or in winter when the tree is "dormant" not in autumn when you state. Surely in autumn its trying to store its energy for next years growth, and your going to cut it off? Plus, you kinda contradicted yourself with the pollard height, then 5m height, then when tony said don't do it harsh, you said thats what you meant? To me, taking it back to the first branches our 5m IS harsh, especially in the autumn. Again not trying to be picky but a bit of clarity in your own answers would be nice to keep the thread going. 22. Without being picky, shouldn't you say what height in an actual measurement rather than saying pollard height? Reducing to pollard height could mean anything:lol: Sent from Rob's GalaxySII
